I played a Shar worshipper for years in 3rd edition and my character never had the illusion her goddess loved her. I haven’t gone far in this game but Shadowheart’s opinions don’t strike me as those of a convinced Shar worshipper.

She was captured by someone, her memory was wiped and she was sent on a mission to steal a Gith weapon. She isn't a Shar worshipper, her memory was altered.

She has been manipulated, of course she’s saying what Shar wants her followers to say. But going on with the gameplay you can clearly see that she has a good heart.

I kinda wish that the game would allow us to choose what gods our character primarily worships, regardless of class. Just so I can have a bard who worships Selune and be catty with Shadowheart
