been using him since release his quite good on harassing enemy in the lane his poking ability is too much for a marksman I wont even hesitate to tower dive after landing my poking combo (3rd skill - normal - first skill normal) twice. And his Ultimate skill lets you do risky combo like flash to reach the enemy backline then do your combo like 3rd-normal-1st-normal-2nd-normal and just ult to safety or ult to finish remaining enemies.

He is very easily op in normal but in rank he can't kill or give high damage at all. I thought he would be op hero but sadly he isn't

One of the best hero in HOK . The only problem for this hero is ultimate cd .

@@Noir_playzz No he isn't balanced at all first his ultimate isn't his best source of damage think of it as a utility skill like flash for disengage or reengage the problem is as long as that ultimate isn't have cd like flash (120s) it's still op skill unless you nerf his 1st and 2nd skill. Why? you can harass the enemy using 1st skill and sustain the damage using 2nd skill his poking capability early game is too much that other meta farm laners are having a hard time farming and, when he is lvl 4 it is almost impossible to gank him unless your team can layer all the crowd controls on him. with a 40% cd reduction 48s - 42s is too short for the ultimate like his. if he is well farmed in a highly mechanical players his 1st skill - enhanced basic attack combo can kill the mage or marksman.

but no other marksman can poke squishy mm like long. hou yi is a great continuous damage dealer as long as you have great position you can dominate, loong in the other hand he is more like a burst mage, poke your enemy get out of the range of your opponent after the cd of his skills reengage and go for a kill. and if you're a highly micro centric player this can be done easily in the lane. I had an enemy loong once last night i was using arli I was constantly bieng poked and lane freeze to the point that he is 2 items ahead of me i can't even last hit the minions or close enough to get exp, he is too op in the lane and he is almost imposible to gank due to his ultimate and his 1st skill enhanced basic and 2nd skill need nerf.

@@Dorkneszthat's why when I'm using him, like every minute enemies are ganking my Like wtf, our exp laner having the best day of its life because no one comes to gank him, just so frequent in my lane. They don't want me to farm, so I wouldn't escalate early😢

He's pretty decent considering how he almost have every single attribute you can think of that you won't find in any simple marksman. I can tell on my opinion that he's not op but decent because some marksman outrange him, his skills' animation takes too long ( there's always a delay using his skills ) and squishy ( considering he's a marksman but I find him squishy than other marksman ). He's also counterable by Arli, Luara, Consort Yu and any marksman that can outrange him.
