Shadowhunters 1x12 "Malec" - On the eve of Alec and Lydia’s wedding, relationships are examined in “Malec,” an all-new episode of “Shadowhunters,” airing Tuesday, March 29th on Freeform. The Institute is in full swing as everyone is preparing for the wedding of Alec and Lydia. Lydia is getting final touches made on her wedding dress, the wedding decorations are set and Isabelle is trying to figure out a way to throw a traditional, mundane bachelor party for her brother - whether he likes it or not. During what should be a time of great celebration for many is far from it as they examine their relationships. Alec is struggling on two sides - his wedding is one of the biggest days in his life and his parabatai should be at his side, yet he and Jace are still at odds. Alec also continues to struggle with his feelings for Magnus, especially when Magnus won’t give up on Alec. And as the Institute is buzzing with romance, Clary is desperate to work things out with Jace, but he is keeping her at arm’s length. I feel like there going to try and make it seem like Lydias the mole but really it's hoge their just trying to throw people for a loop at least that's what I think as much as I don't like their wedding happening Lydia is strong character literally female Alec in my opinion

I have a feeling they're gonna kill off Lydia. She's not in the books, of course. This clip can be taken in that direction. She's gonna die and Hodge is revealed to be the one who's been double crossing them. But my assumption is most likely wrong.

I just started watching this show (this ole lady loves Isaiah Mustafa) and I am caught up. When I saw the episode where they had to contact Magnus, I thought, "How did Valentine's people find him....how did they know he was going to be there to meet Clary?" The only people who knew were Alec, Izzy, Jace, Clary and Hodge. That is when I knew Hodge was working for Valentine. Don't get me started on Meliorn....(How did Valentine know that Clary and Jace were coming so that he could shift into Michael Wayland?) he is a traitor too. Did I miss anyone else?

+Cee Lee seelies are difficult, but yeah they're not to be trusted, they'll side with those they think will win....meliorn is actually nicer on the show then he was in the book, lol.

I always thought Lydia was working for Valentine! I know the betrayer is different in the books, but I don't think the show's necessarily going to follow that.

All Dom needs to know is that A: It would be better if you spoke with your British accent, or B: Just stop speaking like you have a cold, or need to cough, or you've been smoking menthol cigarettes for 20 years. Also stop looking like you're in pain? Jace is meant to look like nothing ever affects him, not like everything affects him. Be the epitome on nonchalance

+Angel Nigra While I hate spoilers, I've (mostly) learned to avoid reading any such comments before I read or watch something. I once had the ending to the Divergent series spoiled for me by reading youtube comments on the movie trailer. So if people don't want spoilers, they should avoid the comments. ESPECIALLY since a lot of the people who spoil stuff about the show are assuming that all the fans of the show have read the books, which clearly isn't true. But, I do get what you're saying.

+iheartbritboys Lydia doesn't actually exist in the books. But I think ^^ they're right, they're just making Lydia appear to be the mole, whereas it's really Hodge. FYI the Branwell's are a real Shadowhunter family, and Henry Branwell, who Lydia mentioned in a past episode, did exist.

I kno this has like 0 relation but. I don't get why everyone loves clace so much. I actually block all the kiss scenes. I like climon (I know what happens so I don't need reminders) It makes me happy to see Simon stand up to his fear and ask out Clary. I find it super cute ^^

Sweetypies MSP there's ten of them (short stories)...I just downloaded them off kickass torrents, I'm reading them on my kindle but there's plenty of apps and programs you can use to read them if you don't have a tablet or kindle.
