I have yet to hear so soulful rendition which is so close to. Listern's. heart .he is truly a singer in class of Jagjit Singh,Mehndi Hassan,Ghulam Ali& such singers.in many respects his classical singing ls superb & shows effort&a hard practice beside natural talent.god bless him along life and best in life.

Why I can't monetize? I have the full right to do so. I launched him in India in 1999. He sang these ghazals for me under an agreement in around 2000. SMW did 14projects with him & 10 live Shows! How are you questioning??

@@SMWEvents Glad you asked... But first about you launched him? He's the son of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan from Pakistan, who was called the singer of South Asia! What exactly do you mean you launched him? Like a missile? On licenses, You need to have atleast three licenses when posting performances, rights to the music being performed, rights to the performance, and rights to record and distribute a recording of the performance. And you would also need a sync license, from each of the performers. Did you have all of the above in your 1999 contract? You can publish it under fair use if it is for research and educational purposes but demonetize it. Otherwise this is a theft both legally and morally. I am sure the artist is unaware of his rights and this publication. If this video gets reported this will be taken down. I don't want to report this as this is an incredible performance.

@@helmet212 I know. I had great regards for Salamat Ali Khan Sahib. Before I answer your query I want to know why you are asking this question? Who you are?

I have all the agreements with me. I know he belongs to Sham Chaurasi Gharana. When I say launched him means I did his first recording in India in collaboration with Govt of India . There after I produced projects recording his songs in Punjabi, Urdu & live events. Some of these I gave to HMV for marketing & a few I released under SMW Banner. And few were live events recording. These are all supported by agreements. When he approached us he was only Known as The son of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan Saab & not as Shafqat Ali Khan. I gave him the identity by organising about 8-10 live Events bcoz I found him highly talented. He became famous in India bcoz of rendering of Shabad Gurbani which he sang for the first time ,& he never even imagined he will be singing this. More do bcoz it had collaborstion with Govt if India. I hv done every thing legally. If some one else is claiming copy right I don't know how!!. I was in music as a passion not business. I was a very senior Govt official in Govt of India. Any way I don't want to get into argument. About monetising I am not bothered nor I care for it.
