I was married to a difficult Iranian man for years, met him at only 20, and finally left him at 48. Took a lot of hardship and heartbreak to get where I now am. I used to listen to this and other early Iranian singers for years. I took on his culture but he ridiculed mine as I'm from NewZealand. I do not regret our four adult amazing kids, three beautiful daughters, and one handsome son. I sent this to my oldest girl and have not heard this since I left her dad more for my own sake and have even lived in Tehran in Iran for a while. I do not regret finding out about another culture and traveling, and seeing a little of the world only regret meeting a man who almost ended my life. My kids are interesting and smart and messed up like their parents and I became the better parent without him as i always was. Early Iranian or Persian music is amazing. I even know farsi and oldest girl spoke it fluently at age 7 but has now forgotten. I send her this to remind her of who she is like my other older kids and grankids and to be proud of who she is. Most beautiful music I've ever heard.
