न जाने क्या कशिश है इस गाने में ,जब भी सुनती हूं खुद को गाने से नही रोक पाती 😊और पूरा दिन गुनगुनाती रहती हूं। जगजीत कौर जी का ये एक गाना ही उनकी पहचान बन गया अफ़सोस की उनके और गाने नहीं सुनने मिले।निवेदिता गज़ब की सुंदर बाला ने बेहतरीन अदाकारी के साथ निभाया।खय्याम जी का संगीत एक जुनून की तरह सिर पर छा जाता है और साहिर लुधियानवी जी का क्या कहना। कमलजीत कमाल लगे हैं और वहीदा जी की कश्मकश देखते बनती है।कुल मिलाकर अजरामर गाना बन गया👏😊

Jagjit Kaur passed away on 15th August, 2021. Such a lovely song, and the others she sang for Bazaar, both composed by Khayyam sahab. Reunited with Khayyam Sahab again.

Can’t listen this song in one attempt. I play it three times in a row. One to listen soothing music , second time to listen lyrics composition and singer’s miracle, third time I listen to figure out what’s best an actress who’s singing or khayyam’s wonder or the integration of all these in one superb masterpiece trying to connect you deeply with you past or present. It’s just amazing to have all superb perfection synchronised in one go.

👍Agreed. On screen emotion of Kawaljeet, Chand Usmani(singer) and Waheeda Rehman is perfectly translated in words by great Sahir. Khayyam as usual is glorious and Jagjit Kaur's rendition makes the circle complete. I am writing this comment 3 days after the sad demise of Jagjit Kaur.

Such a beautiful song in raag Pahadi. Just love it. Urdu ka talafuss bhee bilkul saaf hai. Mazaa aa gaya. I just recently heard this song, and just fell in love.

Jagjit Kaur has immortalized this beautiful song. Some of the singers could have sung this technically better, but none could have made it as beautiful as Jagjit did. I first heard this when I was about 10-11, on a black & white TV during early 80s (Chhayageet! not sure), I was captivated then, still am. Somehow this song seems to be a cousin of "kabhi tanhaiyon mein", another of my all time favorites, sung by Mubarak Begum.
