Om Puri has been consistently praising the Indian army in the interview while at the same time saying that India must not encourage a second muslim partition in India, because if that happens it would weaken the existence of India and strengthen the abhorrent two nation theory. And he rightly condemns the Israel Palestine situation.

Dear Indian brothers, I know that Mr Om Puri (OP) had said something very wrong & very seriously wrong things, but do you seriously think that his forgiveness was not supposed to be accepted? It is very pathetic to see unforgiving culture of India even this time in 2017. OP was 67-year-old man and he was not supposed to be called on this channel to chat about politics, in the first place. Secondly, he was not supposed to be asked sensitive questions either and made him sit among the politicians. He was an actor and nothing else. He was called for the interview because he had been to Pakistan few times and he showed some signs of peace and brotherhood between two nations which Indian media and politicians didn’t like. There are loads of good Indians who declare hatred and wars absolutely wrong between both nations, so did Mr Om Puri. His fault was that he was not a crook political & tactful during his interview to speak his mind. For God’s sake he was sick man in the same time, isn’t it? I seriously believe that anyone who dies to defend his country is Shaheed and so was that bold Indian soldier. However, Media has proven to be like Match box who further put fuel to the fire by asking this OLD MAN sensitive questions and upon getting untactful replies made a big breaking news & a big hoo haa. This is how they earn their channel’s ratings. I am not surprised that some mad person took an initiative and killed him after listening hatred against him. Mr OM Puri didn't deserve that death. Indian brothers, as a matter of fact you guys are exactly like us (Pakistanis) who have very little sense of forgiveness & tolerance and you guys believe too that punishment was the only solution. OM Puri is one of the rare practical and an true enlightened indian. The people of Indian and Pakistan are still stuck in an emotionally nonsense mindsets since decades and its impossible for us to get out of this atmosphere. Pakistan is an Ant controlled by holigans and Gundas and Mafias we should not even create such a fuss about these tiny matters. Even a small unit of army can squash Pakistan anytime. We should be talking about our relations with China, USA, Russia, Europe. etc. OmPuri is right there, had it been China it would have been a entirely different story but pakistan is just too insignificant, while they ban Indian films we should encourage more talent and elite class of Pakistan to invest in India, lets drain them of their best man power while those dacoits ruling class of Pakistan loots and takes innocent pakistani people to war. America does the same with world. All the best manpower and money goes to USA inspite of there differences with many countries. We will even get the huge support of the people of Pakistan in the process. I want to ask media why they do not question government about real problems like police reforms why are police still under political control why not an entirely different institute politicians are corrupt because of this power, why is there not any courses compulsory for politicians before holding any position. Why do these guys even live a lavish life they should not be allowed, increase their salaries 10 fold but please no king like facilities just simple offices with small security.Questions like are there better equipments for the soldiers on border not officers but the soldiers on borders first who get 30k salary if not what government is doing about it, what are the legal and other administrative problems faced by common man and what government is doing to make life easier for common people of India. If the government does something good why not discuss even that. All indians have great respect for our soldiers and it comes from heart. But it is also very true that majority of soldiers are illiterate hardly 4th pass or not even that and in that terms they are highly paid and if any who dont want to risk his life should not be in army in the first place. Many unemployed indians join just for their families and little money and they do their jobs with all their heart too. Soldiers and constables are paid to do their jobs nothing is free and the money comes from the taxes hard work of the common people of India. So its unfortunate to hear from an army officer that common man just enjoys inside borders while army take all the risks. Such thinking is nonsense all army officers enjoys as much lavish life as a common man its the soldiers who gets grilled mostly and its very adventurous life too, if they have many issues and complaints that their life is always so much in danger they can leave their jobs there are many talented young Indians as qualified as them who can take over again their salaries paid by the government, money which comes from taxes. Stop discussing Pakistan please they are too insignificant. There are two different mindsets in country just respect them, just because you think differently and you got a platform over there to speak your mind and abuse the other one as much as you want does not make you more of an Indian as or may be it does. Please start discussing CPEC, why China have our lands and investing heavily in it and what India is doing to counter it. Why not try to awaken Indian sprit and solidarity and may be we Indians will stop using chinese products even if its cheaper and better quality, simply use a product you need just because its Indian it may be inferior quality but still money stays with India and with time quality will increase too. There are many examples of Chinese and Japanese doing the same and because of this they have strong influence on west and the USA.
