What’s your verdict? Hyundai Santa Fe or Haval H6 HEV? Comment Below ⬇️

Santa fe is a good car for 15 millions. + Points = Sound System & Spare wheel. Well 7 Seater is a gimick to me. Its not practical in any case most of the time, very rare usage scenrios for kids. Well Its another topic. But 7 seaters option compromise luggage space and - Trunk space we use on daily basis. AWD is good option but for me and most of us, Its not required. I tried to consider it multiple times over HEV but end up having HEV due to many + points of Haval Hev. I belive that Santa fe is more comfertable over Hev & I belive Haval Hev is more comfertable over Sonata. In Santafe I like most: + SPARE WHEEL + SOUND SYSTEM + REAR SEATS TILT ADJUSTMENT As I own HEV and have drove more than 17000 km in last 10 months. For my use case I travel alot on moterways, So having adas feature in a car becomes very useful and practical for longer journeys, so for some it might not be the case then it will not be good for those users as they will not be able to utilize the additional comfort it provides. So it matters to indviduals. For my daily basis real life needs HEV is way more practial. In Hev I like the most: + ADAS FEATURES (VERY PRACTICAL ON LONGER MOTERWAY JOURNEYS, THE ONE WHO START USING IT CANNOT GO BACK TO CONVENTIAL MOTERWAY DRIVING) + INFO SYSTEM (ITS VERY VERY HELPFUL AND VERY CRISP WHEN IT COMES TO CITY AREAS DRIVE, HELPS ALOT AND MAKE DAILY LIFE EAISER) + BETTER AVERAGE (BELIVE ME) + LOOKS & FEELS OF EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR (ITS SUBJECTIVE, BUT FOR YOUNG OWNERS ITS A NCESSARY THING TO CONSIDER) + LESS BUDGET (AROUND 3 MILLIONS) At the end, it depends on individual choice. Making a choice without driving a car becomes very difficult, so we end up seeing reviews on KZfaq. But honestly, owning a car and driving it at least for 5000 km vs just 100 km to upload content on KZfaq and sharing their initial thoughts have a very huge difference. We admire many good and bad things when we drive 2 different cars on daily basis, and with the blessings of Allah Almighty I own 2 different luxury cars, & I choose HEV over Sonata for many different reasons. I am talking about practical daily life experiences.

Santafe’s 2nd row is adjustable, you can make a bit more space for adults in third row by sliding the second row forward,I’ve kept Haval H6 for 10 months and now I’ve got Santafe,Santafe is way more refined and comfortable product ❤

santa fe has hydraulics in bonnet, spare wheel, thigh support in driver's seat,heated steering, indicator blind spot in meter display and AWD with mild off-roading capability over haval h6 hev. I think santa fe is better in my opinion, but yes price difference is a main factor. If you have the budget i think santa fe is a good crossover(Jis cheez ka budget nahi hota wo buri he lagti hai phir chinese toy lovers)

Great review. I personally drove H6 HEV few times, and I like the car and it good great features set but it still feels like chinese car in terms of the build quality. I am not saying it's bad but SanteFe has better premium feel to it. However, I am personally driving Sonata 2.5 since last 2 years and the driving comfort and pleasure that car gives is unmatchable. So, considering that I think Sante Fe will be good package as well but till now, I haven't tested the car. Kia is launching Sorento in Hybrid very soon. It will be interesting category in 2024.

I have owned Haval and now waiting for delivery of Santa Fe. FYI, I am a city driver of Islamabad. My reason for choice was 1- 7 seater 2- I hate interior of Haval h6 and love Santa Fe interior in comparison. 3- awd and multiple driving modes. They will help in different terrains, when needed. Even if Santa Fe has 5 seats, I will still choose it.

@BBOverDrive which of the two has a softer suspension. It would be nice if you start comparing each car's suspension with each other (make a comparison board with softests supension on one side and hardest towards the other end) or with a benchmark car (corolla for instance)

good review but you guys forgot to mention there is a button situated at the middle row seat, by pressing this button the whole seat moves front and fold so there is an ample space for individual to move to bak seats. this information was also missing in pakwheels so called expert review video

I don’t understand the reviewers here in Pakistan. Even after so many options now available in the market, we still aren’t getting complete reviews. I watched the whole video & waited for these guys to give their opinion about the car handling, transmission response & suspension. But their focus was either seats or interior. These things we like only for few weeks or even few months. The thing people gonna enjoy is the ride quality that these cars can offer.

Very interesting comparison and walk through video. Both cars belong to different categories. Santa fe is almost same size as fortuner and a 7 seater SUV with AWD capability. So may be Santa fe can be compared with fortuner in many ways. Having said that Haval HEV is a great SUV but in 5 seater category and feels slightly more futuristic with very advanced features like self parking, ADAS, a DHT transmission etc which r not offered in most other cars. It lacks AWD due to which it suffers from poor traction in snow, mid and even under hard acceleration (lot of wheel spin on dry road).

You guys missed few additional features which are in Hyundai Santa fe such as: Heated Steering Wheel and Cool/Ventilated Seats etc.

I have owned and kept Korean and Chinese SUVs and now I'm back on Japanese. While Korean are nice and Chinese offer a lot of interior modernisations, features & tech but its the small or sometimes big issues that reveal the massive difference of reliability in Japanese Vs these Korean or Chinese SUVs. Then there is this lack of satisfactory after-sales from these Korean & Chinese SUVs. The fact that these companies are not physically present here in Pakistan, rather they have given all authority of warranty & aftersales to their local assembly partners makes things extremely difficult. Worse part is that each dealership is privately owned by seperate people, so they are just waiting to milk you dry, and the technician are so poorly trained/educated to handle these tech-loaded cars, not to mention the lack of spare parts or huge prices for parts. This all reflects in the low resale of these Chinese cars, which means a loss on your investment compared to Japanese cars.

A very good review, you guys put a lot of effort in your vlogs, and make them very informative. If you both stay researched and honest in your reviews, your channel will become an authority in vehicles reviews. English subtitles would help attract international audience, hence creating a bigger impact. You did mentions the groups that brough these two brands to Pakistan, however the brands i.e. GWM and Hyundai should be explained to the viewers as well. GWM has created a position for it self in west and Australia, and is also considered a reliable vehicle manufacturer, Hyundai is also a well established and much older vehicle manufacturer. In your comparison of the two cars, some really important features of Haval H6 hybrid were missed such as ADAS and auto parking etc.

To be honest Shaheen's Review is way better than Ali Raza, Ali Raza's review is not neutral and seems sponsored by Hyundai Santa Fe.

I think this review is a little biased. H6 HEV is much superior than Santa Fe. To put the argument in a box regarding Chinese Vs Korean product comparison; Chinese have come a long way in understanding and manufacturing the Japanese and the German vehicles. Most of the vehicles of top brands from these countries are been manufactured in China since late 90s. And as of today, these Chinese car manufacturers have learnt a lot from their Japanies and German counterparts. The Chinese philosophy is "Value for the money"; as they do understand that their competition is with the big car manufacturers that enjoy huge goodwill. HAVAL is the second largest band in the SUV manufacturing globally.... that describe its standing and potential in future in SUV business. Also, you cannot compare corolla X with HAVAL H6 HEV or SANTA Fe; as the corolla X is a small size SUV whereas HAVAL and Santa Fe is a mid size SUV.

It's like you are comparing city with corolla or yaris with civic. Both cars are different segment cars. Yes if you have money, Santa fe is better then fortuner and hilux in both confort and fuel average.

Haval h6 hev is a winner in looks, excellent shape whereas Santa Fe gives old vibe in terms of shape

As a haval h6 hev owner. Disappointed with afterservices & not having the comfort advertised by the haval showroom,suspension is not promising.even after spending my hard earned money pakistani awaam mocks my haval for being Chinese. I would prefer Korean over Chinese any day
