This lyrics is so hard to translate because of so many deep elements and stuffs that you have to feel them in iran to understand well . But the one you just red was good enough

The lyric had written by "Yaghma Golrouee". He is a famous Iranian poet. Iranian poets use many kind of Metaphor in their Literary writings. This maybe have make the lyric complicated to understand. For example; When He said: "I keep getting drunk, like a bottle of wine. That when the time comes, is a Molotov cocktail." Actually he tries to say that we have a lot of rage and when the appropriate time comes, we will release this madness.

This song is really metaphorical and has many references, I don't think the lyrics are truly translatable. but once you read the translation i can say the guy did an excellent job

Your interpretation as a person that does not live in Iran and does not know persian is pretty accurate. I appreciate your sense of condolence and I respect that you have held your tears during reactions to persian music many times. My friend, this lyrics is amazingly hard to explain. Even though I'm a Persian, I still can't even translate this song for myself. Each time I hear it, I find a new meaning to it and it's like the lyrics is moving through the time and generation.

The best part is when he says “like a fish that cry in its aquarium to live within its own tears” It means, that fish needs those tears to fill up its whole small tank of aquarium to survive in it. it’s so deep and simple sometimes like this or might be deep and complicated to understand!

Hello dear friend, it is really a little difficult for us Iranians to understand this song, because in order to understand every sentence of this song, you must have a high level of general information. And deeply formed. In addition, some sentences are expressed in slang, the exact meaning of which is not obtained in the translation. I do not think the poem can really be translated, but if you can in the translation, you will notice that the reader says: (An Iranian poet who lived in the fourteenth century AD) and the cure for this grief is what is the discovery of a secret (Zakaria Razi, the discoverer of alcohol), the whole part of which conceptually becomes just this sentence: That you chose one of the difficult concept songs, but congratulations because your work was wonderful.👍🤝

A lot is lost in translation. Also there are many allusion and references (e.g. Soleiman was a prophet who had a flying carpet; Hafiz was an Iranian poet who mostly talked about love; Zakaria Razi was the man who discovered alchohol; Armanian Saghi is referred to one who supplies people with alchohol, which is illegal in Iran; etc.)

Not his own lyrics. its from one of the greatest poet . Most songs (if not all) in this Album (hich hich hich) are post modern lyrics written by the greatest post modern persian poets ,all ended up in jain at some point in the past not sure if they are free now. dont read the lyrics just enjoy the music you shouldnt make sense of lyrics or any post modern art work .
