At .06-the very first interview there’s a longer version of the same interview call crafting with.... Theo loses his train of thought and gets flustered and then looks at her and she just smiles at him so sweetly and says “it’s okay we can move on” then he’s able to go on.

I had to God about it! See it from his perspective and gave me peace because I was obsessing over these two way to much. You can see the love between and ain’t just friendship either even though they play around and try to hide. On to them I am. They can’t hide. No no no Like in one interview where they’re mirroring each other in their facial expressions, Theo said” nothing is something until it’s something” Well I think it’s “something”. Hilarious. She said it first and then (he) said the same thing basically. While I was listening to them during the interview I was thinking the same thing before Theo actually spoke it out loud. Yep. They might not have realized they were referring to themselves or not,but it’s “something”. But they are two smart people and figure it out and get married and have some babies!

Um. Yikes, okay. I thought Divergent was alright, because DAYUM those books were too Tobias x Tris focused and crap. I don't want to sound mean (honestly please don't take offense) but I thought Katniss and Peeta were just as believable and a better couple than Tobias and Tris. The Hunger Games romance was beautiful because it was gradual and painful. Peeta loved her unconditionally and slowly Katniss, amidst all this destruction and chaos, in the end finds the one person who was always there for her. They were both damaged and broken but still learned to open up and love. It was annoying to me how Tris drops down into the net in like the fifth chapter or so and BOOM. There's already this fairytale romance happening that was dragged out until the last book. And you're saying Peeta's and Katniss's relationship was forced? I hope my opinion doesn't start any conflict! We all love different characters and romances so we should just be appreciative of each other. ^-^

Joelle Tindal **shrugs** My opinion is so because that's how I saw it. I read The Hunger Games trilogy and I absolutely hated it (the reason I kept reading is because I was hoping it would get better). I will never read it again, and I wouldn't watch the movies if I were being paid. When I was reading the third and final volume, I came within a hair's breadth of throwing the book across the room in anger - many times throughout, and the ending was so infuriatingly unsatisfying that I felt like I'd been swindled, even though they were library books, and I hadn't spent a penny on them (thank goodness for that). When I read the Divergent trilogy (technically I'm still halfway through Allegiant, but my opinion is unlikely to do a complete 180 in half a novel's time), I had difficulty containing how satisfied I was with it. The protagonist is, in my opinion, an exemplary heroine who tries her best to do what's right, even when she's doubting herself, while Katniss whines and complains for three solid books, blaming herself for all the bad things happening in the world, and only ever does what she's told; a paper hero both in universe and in the fandom. The lines between good and evil are blurred, while in THG it literally could not be more black and white. The story in Divergent has twists and turns, a reveal at the end of the second book, which is expanded upon in the third. There's nothing like that in The Hunger Games; it's just three solid books of sadistic mass torture, physical and especially mental. Tris is a hero because no matter how much she wants to up and quit, she pushes on, because she knows it's the right thing. Katniss only ever performs *one* act of heroism in the entire trilogy - that I can remember - which ultimately turns out to be in vain. Beyond that, it's all either fighting in the Games, pretending to be something she's not, or complaining about both, and shouldering the blame for the actions of the government. And that's me getting *started*.

***** I guess I just like how conflicted Katniss is and how many decisions she makes that change her world immensely. She really does have herself to blame for everything that's happened and actually goes insane in the last book. Even without Katniss there (whining I think is what you said) she is the face of a rebellion against an oppressive government although she loses so much. I also just want to say that my mother appreciated THG. She tends to get on my case about reading "crap" and "junk food" books. She also loved the movies too! But when my family watched Divergent she was like, " Well, that was... boring." Divergent is a bit too straightforward for me and her. I still love both series, but I favor THG over Divergent.
