“There’s two sides to every story and there’s the truth…”
For Season 9 Episode 7 (Crazy Titch Case) we invited the one and only Shaker The Baker to explain his side of the story, following the snitch allegations. We also felt that he deserved his musical flowers for being one of the Asian pioneers in the UK rap scene.
This is one not to be missed as no table was left unturned! Shaker specifically asked for it to be filmed during fasting hours so we can be sure that he is telling the truth. With Spray having history with “Chingford Hall” and a few old mates from the estate in the background, it made for a great atmosphere and added to the realness.
Shaker talked us through his upbringing; growing up on Chingford Hall; going school in Walthamstow; his music journey beginning with grime music and much more before we got into the main subject which was the “Crazy Titch Case” during which Shaker explained his reasons for NOT being a snitch. It was a very difficult and heartbreaking subject as we must remember that he saw his friend take his last breath infront of him.
Next, Shaker told us what he was up to at this point in his life, regarding music and anything else he has planned. We then put him through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ before getting into some ‘Current Affairs’ followed by a break for some ‘RTM Banter’. The ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ closed the show as usual.
Yet another Realer Than Most conversation with lots of banter, real talk and transparency. Big up Shaker for having the courage to address this situation and we wish him well in his future endeavours.
