“The song’s playing him”… I think he’d agree… listen to his Roll the Bones re-issue album of 2021… his interludes on the backside tell the story of how he got the “haunted guitar” that he used to write this song… and about how he felt he “captured the songs in the wild”… he’s a master of dynamics. Thanks for watching that man. You hit the nail on the head…I was curious to see if you’d pick up on everything he was doing and you did. His guitar is tuned funky. Plucks the bass notes with his thumb, and plays the other strings like a lead. (I think) Why he sounds like more.
