@@georgegetson7393 I mean how much of a danger do you really think that is? As far as problens your car could have go if you're at all a good driver you should be able to drive while barely if ever looking at the speedo and still maintain a safe speed. Plus did anyone say it was "so hip?" or did you just project that? Edit: guessing you thought the word "love" in OP meant that he thought the speedo being broken was "cool". In case you aren't too in touch with the younger generation (lol), they (we?) tend to use the word "love" sarcastically a lot in that kind of sentence structure. e.g. "love how you just made a really offensive comment and then moved on like it was nothing" - used that as an example because us younger folk are usually offended by something

Well I see a girl, that's blue like the sea; When I go to sleep, you know that she sees me too. Yeah just standin' around like the popular kids, Hopin' Saint Peter will let us in too. Well 'e says if you value your life, stay off the drugs. If you value the drugs, stay off the map. If you value them maps, you better travel some, And if you don't wanna travel, then you better run yeah. Yeah well I knew a king, in his purple throne, Though he had some trouble, so he's all alone now. Well I used to bring him little presents oh from time to time He'd sit me in his castle, and he'd pick my mind He said if you value your heart, well stay on the road. If you value the road, oh stay on the top. If you value the top, oh you're gonna suffer son, And if you don't wanna suffer, then you better run, oh Yeah well I seen my boos in his practical suit, Gonna toss him in the cellar; won't-a give him no food. Yeah you know and anybody tries oh to tell him what to do, He holds his breath until he turns blue. Yeah he says if you value your job, stay outta crime. If you value the crime, stay outta doors. If you value them doors, then you better lock 'em son, And if you don't wanna lock 'em, oh you better buy a gun, yeah Yeah well I saw a snake in an apple tree, And no I didn't trust a word that he hissed to me, NO Yeah he said it must be gettin' awful lonely tryin' to save the world, Just buy a collared shirt, and try to fuck some girls. Oh he said if you value your limbs, stay in the game. If you value the game, stay in that style. If you value that style, you're sinkin' son, And if you don't wanna sink, then you better run, Yeah you better run, yeah Yeah oh you better run Yeah mmmm
