You can tell the blonde girl in the shiny jacket was expecting her to compliment her style after she asked the question about style, and when Shakira didn't she looked kinda sad but a few seconds later Shakira pointed at her jacket saying it was cool and the little girl's face just lit up. SO CUTE.

Just an incredible, down to earth Lady, who's transcended music to a whole another level !! Her success is herself, listening to her gives me goosebumps.. she had a burning desire at a tender age to be someone special in this world and she became who she's today, by her own determination and hard work !! So simple and humble answering the kids questions, tells one how tender her heart is ! She's one of my inspirational people; listening to her music; the voice show; her interactions with the public; eloquency; smart; strong; very benevolent and just a humble/classy Lady ! Moral of the story for little girls; dream big; never give up and the sky is the limit !! At a few instances I thought some of the kids were kind of uninterested. But then I realized they were sort of have become speechless. While some would just be staring at her with full attention, some others are being too coy to even look at her and so just take a glimpse of her every once in a while. Then they would become kind of giggly. Hahaha. Adorable... Meanwhile, Shakira's English speech has become a little more "natural" sounding than, say, when the promotion of ED started. This is great video. Thanks.

It's amazing how many projects she has done for kids like guest starring in Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, guest starring on Dora The Explorer plus doing a music video for it, doing a voice-over role for Zootopia plus a song and music video for it, and here being interviewed by a group of kids! 😊 I wish more celebs were more diverse like she is.

Ésta mujer es increíble y definitivamente muy inteligente. Cuándo terminó su Bachillerato (High School) en Colombia hablaba un inglés muy básico cómo cualquier Colombiano promedio y de verdad qué escucharla hablar un segundo idioma con éstos niños con tanto desparpajo y fluidez y no sólo aprendido de oído para una canción es muy inspirador. Son pocos los artistas hoy en día qué graban multilingües cómo los de antaño, Julio Iglesias, Roberto Carlos por nombrar algunos... también la escuché cantar en Francés y Catalán. Muy emprendedora y orgullo de Colombia.

Te tratas como si seria una de las siete maravillas del mundo que shakira habla inglés con fluidez! Eso se deberia considerar normal. Hay muchas personas en el mundo que empezaron aprender un idioma desde 0 y ahora hablan con fluidez igual como Shakira. Porque nadie dice "oh soy tan orgulloso de ti porque aprendiste todo tu solo sin la ayuda de nadie "? Porque Shakira es un celebrity y esas personas No? Y que dices si te digo que yo también aprendi español completamente sola sin que alguien me ayudó?

Pues te felicito linda, también valoro tú actitud, no me malentiendas, no es porqué mi paisana es una celebrity ni nada de éso, tal vez tú puedas verlo normal por q creciste en un país desarrollado pero creéme q ella vino de abajo con mucho esfuerzo y en algunos lugares ése tipo de oportunidades son más bien privilegios y sencillamente éso es lo q resalto; las personas q al igual qué tú se proponen hacer algo y lo logran, muy bien!
