I love jlo like she isa Puerto Rican icon and as a Puerto Rican seeing our flag shit was so cute and hyped but I love how Shakira incorporates subtly Colombian African and Lebanese (middle eastern) parts to her performance targeting so many audiences gotta love her for that ❤️

I only see how amazing of a performance it was. Some people cant get over the fact that 2 strong, talented, influential, sexy Latinas burned this stage. It makes them uncomfortable that these 2 artists are comfortable with who their roots. They both showcase a little taste of what Latin america is. Latin America is such a rich culture with diversity in their music, culture, food, their people etc. Shakira showed a multi cultural, multi talented performance and JLo made a strong political statement alongside her daughter. This is the best half time show I can remember. Great reaction and new sub here. You had me laughing man.

In my opinion, Shakira did it better. SHE DID THAT. Shakira did her think and you were looking at her and not focus on her dancers as much as I did with jlo. I feel like jlo relies on her back up dancers while shakira does her own unique thing and takes the full attention. You said jlo could of done it by herself? Shakira could of done it as good on her own too not just jlo, thu should of had their own show and I feel like NFL played them. Because we all know they are two huge stars on their own!

I feel you on the NFL playing them, they could have done it separately. But after the mess that is Maroon 5 the NFL went into panic mode and had to call two stars to restore faith in the half time show.

JLo could’ve done it herself very easily, and that was what the NFL wanted and been wanting for a very long time. Shakira was added as Jay-Z’s request because the NFL hired Jaz-Z’s production company to produce the half time show. Jay z wanted somebody from his record company to co-headline and the only superstar other than Beyoncé was shakira since Beyoncé has done it twice. The deal was pretty much JLo’s, and Jay-z actually went to JLo’s house in Miami, (there’s even a picture) to ask her if it was ok with her to add Shakira and Jlo agreed.. if only Jlo would had said no, you salty bitches wouldn’t be talking shit. JLo wanted to celebrate latin culture and that’s why she ended up adding to the show j-balvin and bad bunny. She could had easily done it by herself, like easy but she decided to share her time. The whole press wondered why she didn’t Have the whole show herself and at the end everything made sense, it wasn’t about Jlo, it was about our Latin culture. But let’s be real for a second here, the NFL wouldnt never offered the halftime show to Shakira alone, like never, and not hate towards her at all, but that’s just the true. Different story with Jlo, she’s been in talks to headline it for years now and finally came true. And about the dancer, they both had backup dancers so stop making shit up, they both rely on them that’s why they call back up dancers.

CarlosCastellano PEPSI did not wanted Jlo, it was only until Jay-Z brought Shakira into the mix that they agreed. For Jlo was: either do it with Shakira or don’t do it at all. I feel bad for Jlo, homegirl really thought this was gonna be her moment and be winning awards for her pole dancing movie or even be nominated for an Oscar. At the end of the day, the one who was #1 trending worldwide was Shakira + her single and album sales skyrocketed.

Carlos Fuentes 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Pepsi has nothing to do with recruiting talents for the halftime show. They are just sponsor it. The NFL does that and they were in talks with jlo right after the fiasco that happened at the last Súper bowl. All the media projected Jlo to be the headlining. The NFL hired Jay Z last July to be the producer to the show and that’s when he brought Shakira into talks. But Jlo was already in deep talks with the NFL, she herself said it when she was interviewed at the beginning of her show last summer, Hoda asked her, Ellen asked her, Andy Cohen asked her, because the rumors were pointing very strong at her. According to outlets Jay Z brought Shakira because he wanted representation from his record label, Jay z even went to JLo’s house to discuss it with her, there’s even a picture of their meeting. And btw it is her moment, at 50 she still more relevant than a lot of other singers that came out with her, hustlers made $200 millions and she won 18 prestigious awards on that movie along. If Shakira was trending word wide that’s thanks to jlo because if she would’ve said No the girl would had have the best moment of her career.. Jlo had have a lot of best moments.

She lives in Europe and she had been to China and Netherlands. She is world wide. It was smart move from J Lo to agreed to Shakira.

Emme is adorable, Shakira plays 4 instruments and speaks 6 languages... ❤️👉🏻🇨🇦🇨🇦 actually all the little girls r from Columbia, it was so cute, she got them an ice cream and donut truck for them after rehearsal.. they split this 1/2 time..
