2023 లో కూడా చూస్తున్నా. ఎన్నిసార్లు చూసినా భోరు కొట్టనిది..తనివితీరనిది..అసలు "శివ" లాంటి సినిమా చూడలేదు. ప్రేక్షకుల ను ఉర్రూతలూగించిన గొప్ప సినిమా. .వరల్డ్ లోనే బెస్ట్ మూవీ..

I seriously feel, Annapurna Studio's team should consider remastering this movie and re release in theatres either on the occasion of Nagarjuna's B'day or Raghuvaran's B'Day or RGV's B'Day in any of the coming years. This movie is a phenomenon. Great Direction by RGV Sir, with very much raw local flavour. Superb acting by Nagarjuna. All others have contributed very well. I have seen this for many times. Still gives goosebumps. Time less & masterpiece movie.💐💐💐💐

I seriously wonder why there are 1.1k dislikes to this legendary masterpiece of Indian Cinema. Telugu audience are mostly divided by fan groups and fan wars, may be that's the reason. As a matter of fact, King Nagarjuna is the true king of Telugu cinema, the way he changed Telugu cinema and Indian cinema with Shiva is inspirational to any budding actor

@@vinodalaparthi9794 Nagarjuna was the King of Telugu cinema, may be you were not born at the time to see the kind of superstardom he had, in fact, he was the only Telugu superstar who had a strong market in Tamil Nadu, his films got dubbed in Tamil regularly during the 90's and they were very well received by the Tamil audience. Nagarjuna from 89 to 97 was miles ahead of everyone else in terms of stardom and those who witnessed it know this very well, he had a strong fanbase allover South India and on top of that he was a Pan India superstar with fan-following in other parts of the country as well. Let me tell you that Ratchagan's hype and pre-biz was legendary, it was the costliest movie of its time and the audience went to theatres just to watch a glimpse of the trailer, such was the craze of Nagarjuna and his superstardom.

"Shiva " Telugu movie ran sucessfully even in Karnataka state even though most viewers did not know Telugu. Impact was so much that many college going students started carrying cycle chains in their pant pocket after watching Shiva movies in 1989. A great team effort led by director Ramgopal Verma. Background music by Ilayaraja is great.

It still gives me goosebums after 30 yrs...i saw it in hindi in 89 repeatedly for 10 times..bought dialogues cassette and played it on my player day and night..the background score is still beyond time after 30 yrs

Its been thirty years this movie released,look at the dressing style of nagarjuna,his costumes was amazing in this movie some dressess are still preferable to wear now, mainly 13:20white t shirt looks trendy. This movie surely deserves the place in top10 all timehits in Indian cinema
