Fr. Simon Pereira says that he was thinking of the priesthood as a young boy but as he grew older, he was interested in taking up law as a career. Years later, at prayer service when Padre Pio died, a young Simon Pereira wrote a petition: “Dear Padre Pio, please give me a sign that God is calling me…” and Padre Pio appeared to him in a dream.

I have attended fr Simon's mass in the early 80s. He spoke powerfully and with conviction. I wanted to be a priest but failed. 9 years ago I decided to attend daily mass because of demonic attack. After I have confessed my serious sins the demons left me. But I continue attending mass and going for regular monthly confession or more where necessary. I look forward to meet Jesus in eternity and I try with His help to live up to His expectations. 'be perfect as your Father is perfect"

Father Simon....you have truly lived your calling of a priestly vocation. We are blessed to have encountered you. As a neighbour to Singapore, you have touched and healed many here in 🇲🇾 in whichever parishes you have visited all over. Fr would toy please pray for our beloved most wonderful brother , he's going through chemo, lost a lot of wright and work now ans out of breath, not eating much, this amazing young man is dad's 24/7 carer and now my poor sick sister has to care for dad day and night and Vince home sometimes ans she's keeping the gisue going also, if only Vince could be healed then all our lives would go back to normal and life would not be traumatic anymore, its being an absolute nightmare for 2 months now, and I pray many Rosaries a day with many other prayers to plead with God and our Lady to help us

Fr.Simon...You never cease to amaze me with your strong conviction in your sermons....so powerful, full of zest....surety in the faith of what you believe in...has given me a sense of understanding of knowing Christ and making him known.....am so glad to have been baptized by you and though it was against my families wishes. I have never looked back nor regreted my decisions. That was when I was in my teens. It has been a long, winding and lonely journey now that I am a senior and every up and down has been an adventure with the Lord.. and He has never abandoned me....thank you Fr.
