The WNBA has a huge marketing problem. With all due respect, that’s the reality. At the time of this post the City-Spurs highlights has over 65K views while this video has 165 views. And both of these videos were released at nearly the same time. The WNBA needs to actually do a real deep dive on who its real target audience is and go after that segment of the population. That’s the reality.

Its confusing that last season flying private was a fineable offense...because it was a competitive advantage...now you thought u can just do it for two team...the WNBA needs more progressive leader and leadership. Now they are going to have to pause the benefit....I mean the ACES are the 🏆 CHAMPIONS and they aren't flying private. Why would the two worst teams in the league get charters?

Moot - At a typical WNBA game ...18,000 of 20,000 fans in the arena come disguised as empty seats. With 1000 of the 2000 visible fans, family, or girls sports teams with free tickets.

Get a grip! Do you know if Delta has facilities in every franchise city? Were the logistics of all teams congruent with charter flights? Or is just more hate? Keep it up and lose the recent influx of viewers due to your biased views.

It's aggravated stupidity on the part of the league's logistics officer. The charter contract should have been given to the top four carriers with the chacter assets.

This season has taught us one important lesson - everyone associated with the WNBA is a hater to the highest order. All everyone does is complain about everything and hate on everyone. They’d rather have no charter flights than have charter flights for some. These bitter haters need to move on and cede the league to Angel and Caitlin.

I find the bitter pickiness and major distractions in issues like this the reason that it may compromise the growing popularity of the WNBA. Please media, do not inflict wounds on players as they carry enough on their shoulders to perform. Obviously charter flight has had no advantage to the Fever’s winning record. Like girly-girly nonsense grown media is getting out of control and fans that can help bring in funds to aid the league in ticket sales may take a back seat on supporting the nonsense that does not happen in the men’s league. Disappointed to hear what tries to make the headlines😢

They can't use the excuse of ticket sales because the games are sold out. they only want 1 person to shine. the same with the charter flights ,they made sure caitlin had hers, did you see her in the chair with her feet up, while the others are on commercial flights or buses. This is not a coincidence, and they don't expect you to be upset if you say something you're a hater. How can you compare others viewership if they don't have TV time. They want it to look like one player has single handedly saved the WNBA.

@@SynthMan65 Einstein are you aware that the Barclay center is sold out for the Chicago Sky game and Connecticut is also sold out for Chicago. Caitlin Clark is not the only one selling out arenas. Stop repeating everything that you hear it's all a distraction to keep our eyes on Caitlin and it's not working. They are getting the competitive advantage with the charter flights and still losing. all these new eyes are seeing exactly what is happening and some of them are becoming fans of other players that they did not know existed. Thank you for the whole draft class not just Caitlin.

They said they think every team will be chartering for all flights starting next week. Nobody will care about this next week. Makes sense for them to prioritize Clark. Safety matters!

The WNBA know exactly what they are doing...make sure all the Catlin fans know that CC will be treated to the top amenities first. They could have split the charter contract among the top four carriers who had the charter asset. The WNBA is making it clear that they only give a dam about one player. I really don't know how much clearer they have to make themselves. Teams that can afford it should put themselves on charter flights and just get reimbursed.

13:18 is all you need to know. We KNOW that is the reason. The excuse of her being a high-flying rookie does not fly either.
