Hi. This video is great. Thanks for sharing. One thing I experienced with Arata is it changes color in few months way before expiry. It smells bad as well in that case. First it was white and became yellow when we shake it.. eventually it changed to blackish green kind of thing when I took it out after a month.

I always refrain from using Arata Shampoo and Conditioners because they have a shelf life of 6 months which is quite frankly a waste of money. Even if I use it every wash - which I don’t, I won’t run out of it so I don’t prefer buying their products. If they come up with this product in 100 or 150 ml, I might buy. Rest I have used all the shampoos except the Curl up one. I personally don’t like the Brand, I have used its products but the fragrance is overwhelming. I would like to add Sugarboo curls Shampoo, Curlvana and XO curls shampoo to this list. Sugarboo gives a squeaky clean scalp, Curlvana shampoo is a mild cleanser and Xo Curls shampoo is extremely moisturizing. I bought the entire range and so far I like everything! Would definitely recommend that you try the XO curls range.

Cant say how is xo curls havent used but sure will 😍 Sugarboo shampoo, curlvana shampoo I wont put in this category because none of them is conditioning. Both are for deep cleansing which is great for certain scalp and hair types like normal-oily scalp/ seborrheic dermatitis prone scalp like mine but cannot be suggested for everyone as they do dry out if used frequently. I agree about arata one. Though the shampoo would still be fine for a whole year mine is also still fine but I am not sure why brands label just 6 months. I have asked few brands about it and they have all given same explanation - people dont store products properly like putting wet dirty hands in product or leave products in damp closed warm bathroom. Curl up cowash smells quite mild and pleasant. The smell of their initial products is way too overwhelming (shampoo conditioner and cream) and then they started putting different kind of fragrance in their other products like mask, gel, mousse, cowash all have different fragrances and fortunately quite mild as well

@@desicurly okay! I mostly prefer the cleansing shampoos as my head gets a little oily and flaky! I like that squeaky clean feeling. I am not so bummed about the shelf life. I use all their stylers - both creams and gels and I love those. Given they come in 100-150ml size, they get utilized within 6 months but 300ml in 6 months is impossible for me to finish and I would only prefer buying it if they come up with a 100 or 150 ml bottle. I believe the product is good but it won’t be able to give me my money’s worth as What works for me is to change the product every wash. So I shuffle the products every wash day. And this is absolutely off topic but I have also their hempseed oil - if you ever speak with the brand, please do let them know that the fragrance of that particular product induces serious headaches. It has such strong and irritating fragrance and it just doesn’t go away even after multiple washes. And use it for SOTC and you won’t be able to go on with your day. I couldn’t use it after two times, it is sitting in my shelf. I know you haven’t tried that oil, I had asked you before purchasing but it had good reviews but no one warned about the strong pungent fragrance. I had initially bought their cream and gel and those fragrances were so overwhelming. But then more curly hair brands came up with such good products. But if you’re saying they have improved then will surely try the curlup one!

Hi yes that effects the definition even if you tie once hair is dry because curls will get stretched and frizzy. But right now its so humid and uncomfortable! Just make whatever hairstyle you like! Comfort >>>> but try making loose ones

There are no such bad ingredients. I am telling you this after doing label-reading, avoiding bad ingredients and all for 5-6 years. Didn’t help at all. While ingredient list should be full and complete and not just list few herbs in Sanskrit or just ‘key ingredients’, reading ingredient list does not in assessing a product. Take it as a dish containing cumin powder - will we be able to judge the taste of it by seeing that it has cumin powder and a bunch of more spices and ingredients? Not at all right? May be a little bit if we know the recipe/cooking process of that dish but if even that is not in our information, we can judge nothing. Same way we should never judge products based on individual ingredients because a product does not behave as a specific ingredient and a specific ingredient wont behave the same in a formulation as it would individually. What other ingredients are added, in what concentration, what process etc etc etc lots of information needs to be there to understand a product based on ingredients. Even if we source this information somehow from the manufacturer, even then only a formulation scientist/cosmetic formulator would be able to understand it all. Basically it needs a lot of education and skills to be able to judge ingredients and formulations. Ingredient list gives absolutely no information no matter what influencers and google says. Hi! I haven’t tried that spray so cannot comment on that. But specifically using curly hair labelled brands or products isn’t necessary. However these brands have more experience and exposure to curly hair care than regular brands. For example Ashba Botanic’s founder is a curly girl who started probably the first curly hair blog website in India. She has a lot of experience of different products and tested her products in Singapore’s humidity. Only a curly hair brand can put in so much effort and they know in what direction they have to work and the needs of different hair types. But again- no specifically using curly hair brand isn’t necessary however can be better as a beginner

None of these suggested ones will work on oily scalp to be honest but if your hair isn’t super dry or rough, you can use you scalp shampoo on hair length too but in very very small amount so that it doesnt dry out hair.

Hi when hair is made squeakyyyyu clean by a shampoo, that means everything it has removed from hair including natural sebum/conditioner deposite etc hence hair is supposed to feel very dry and tangled. Hi! Shampoo is for cleansing so you can buy either of these. The shampoo I have suggested will suit high porosity (means damaged hair) too because they are conditioning shampoos. Products dont vary porosity or curl pattern wise.

Low porosity is not a hair type neither should we buy according to porosity. Low porosity means quite healthy hair with cuticles intact this repelling water. Healthy hair repels water. Having low porosity just means hair strands are healthy that’s all it doesnt say anything else about whag should you use or avoid. I think you are looking for fine hair. You need to use a medicated anti dandruff shampoo only then the problem will be solved. Lemon juice and DIY’s didnt work for me, even if it worked it was temporary. Dandruff will make your hair dry, oily or extremely frizzy. First you must tackle your dandruff. Please go to a good dermatologist they will guide you better.

Hi, I have the same type so I would recommend you to go for silicone free shampoos and hair products. Silicones can be sometimes really bad for wavy or curly hair types as they create build up and hamper product absorption. I have oily scalp and dry ends so I use re'quill anti dandruff or hairfall control shampoo on my scalp. I switch between shampoos according to the weather. And I use arata advanced curl care shampoo in lengths. You can use deep conditioners and curl cream to battle dryness as well Do check for silicones in all hair products you use and avoid them. Use oils like grapeseed, avocado, or argan instead of hair serums to seal the moisture in. I hope this helps! To understand what would suit your hair, try understanding your hair type, porosity and scalp. Do experiment around a bit

Hi, shampoos don’t promote hairgrowth or reduce or cause hairfall. Its the last thing you want to do when experiencing excessive shedding. Excessive shedding is an internal problem. Please see a doctor, get basic blood tests done and find the cause

Hi! Use salicylic acid based shampoo or any oily scalp shampoo but just on scalp. Not on hair length. On hair length you can use these in the video

Its a good one - conditioning and gentle cleanse if thats what you want from your shampoo. Not suitable for oily scalp/ fine hair/dandruff

You should use two different shampoos in that case. Oily scalp needs stronger shampoo (you can try bare anatomy volumising shampoo) but dry hair needs gentle conditioning shampoo (have suggested those in this video)

Hey hi. I've wavy hair and i use amla reetha shikakai powder as hairwash. After that i use curlvana styling gel to define my wavy hair. But unfortunately it doesn't stay upto 2nd day also. Why?

Hi! So I wont personally suggest using hair wash powders frequently especially if your hair is dry. They are quite cleansing in nature and not so suitable for frequent usage. Secondly i dont see anything softening/conditioning in your routine. No conditioner no mask. Extremely important especially after using hairwash powders. Without a proper nourishment we cannot expect hair to behave its best. Thirdly a little bit of moisture is required using leave in conditioner or cream that also helps with better clumping of hair. Lots of misses which I am sure you can fix easily ♥️♥️♥️ also sleep on satin pillow cover. And if tying hair then do expect waves to stretch out and lose shape. @@desicurly the power which I use is from HAVINTHA BRAND and consist aloevera, green tea extracts and flaxseed, bhringraj powder and amla reetha shikakai fenugreek powder which all are great conditioners. I don't use market base shampoos because it makes my hair fall like HELL. They start falling out in a BUNCH. I use a satin pillow daily. So what can I do? I can't switch to market base shampoos i really have thin and fine wavy hair😭😭😭

Hi 👋 so i have used shampoo, conditioner and serum from argan peptide range (orange/brown one). The shampoo is suitable for dry scalp and dry hair very conditioning shampoo. Mask has okayish slip but good for repairing hair. Not enough for softening hair as far as I remember. Serum is suitable for probably straight hair or very short hair because its tiny quantity. But its water based, milky slightly moisturising and also acts as heat protectant so thats good.

Iska matlab aap bhot amount me zada tel use karte ho. Oil bhot thoda sa lagana hota hai. Tel me balo ko bhiga loge fir to bilkul nahi niklega. Apne dekha hoga tel wala bartan ya kadhai me kitni mushkil se nikalta hai aur kitna sara vim bar lagana padta hai? Haina? Vaisa nahi karna hai

Hi! Flakes are not buildup. Buildup are not flakes. If you have dry scalp type then it will flake due to dryness just like rest of our skin does. Use a conditioning shampoo in that case. I have made video on dry flaky scalp suggesting product and how to use them. Do watch.

Hi! Low Porosity = Healthy hair. That’s all it doesnt mean anything bad infact its good hair cuticles are and healthy. Internet will tell you otherwise- ignore it. Anything for marketing 🤦🏻‍♀️ Tangled after 3 days - curly and wavy hair is prone to tangling even on the same day so that’s a part of having non-straight hair. For dandruff you can use plum dandruff control shampoo and use it the way I have suggested in this video since its quite strong and cleansing. Not at all…they are supposed to be this way and its a good thing. So the thing is you are expecting hair and scalp to feel squeaky clean after using rinsing products. Right? But when you use something conditioning/softening, it deposits conditioning agents on top of hair/scalp to keep it smoother silkier for a longer time thus *reducing* friction, roughness and tangles and increasing shine and softness. This will happen with anything that is softening in nature. Thats the difference between a conditioning shampoo and deep cleansing/strong shampoo. However avoid using conditioner on scalp

Hi Andrew, you can use any of these shampoos. These will work for both dry scalp and dry curly hair Dont use shampoos that leave scalp and hair squeaky clean. Use them once in a while only because in your case they will dry out hair. Also after shampoo and conditioner use a styling cream to keep hair moisturised
