Melissa Nelson Considering how devastating their break up was and how hard Sheldon took it, the way in which they got back together is triumphant. By the way - "The dryer sheets of my heart" and "Lint trap of my love" are without a doubt two of the quirkiest yet romantic lines of the show, and of all time :)

And they also tend to hyperfocus on certain things while not giving any focus on others. Basically they have a different way of receiving mental stimuli. I hope I didn't mix up any term

I know that many fans didnt like this relationship and that it ruined Sheldon a-sexual uniqueness, but I think that they are wrong, this relationship is so romantic and gentle and in many ways Sheldon is still a-sexual because he is only interested in intimate relationship with Amy that took 6 season s to achive. This is my favourite episode. As a musician, I know the power of music, and how it can bring people together or make people realise their feelings, whether they knew that they had them or not. And as a hopeless romantic, this episode ticks all the boxes.

@@kremove Does that not describe every person ever? Do we not adapt to a sticky situation because we know we'd be replaced of we didn't. Take our jobs for an instance, if we don't adapt and do as needed, we'd be fired and replaced. Sheldon does the same, except he can't take the fact that Amy's replacing him, thus the evolution of their relationship

I originally thought about writting a dark drama/thriller fanfic of david returning, a couple years after the end of this episode. Where its a sheldon vs david for amy. And david returns (180 outta character/personality change) cuz he goes to these "how to man up" like classes so he tries hard to pursue amy (despite her and sheldon being together) sheldon changes character goes dark (sociopathic like) and snaps and it takes a negative left turn, (Murder was involved in this) I had the whole plot and everything written up but never went past cuz i got too busy... Then completely forgot about it afterwhile.

Can we all just appreciate Sheldon's character growth? I mean yeah its great they got back together but im more impressed by the fact that he REALIZED IT WASNT A GOOD TIME AND APOLOGIZED! Sheldon Cooper apologized sincerely without any prodding from anyone, without having to be told he was in the wrong. Thats great character and story development right there.

Allow me to rant about the most perfect thing in the world: *Shamy✨️* A perfect question for Sheldon was.. _"Will a man, whom people believe doesn't have the potential to feel strong emotions, have the potential to love somebody?"_ This was one question I always have had ever since the beginnings of The Big Bang Theory. His character was so interesting and unique, I couldn't help but be mesmerised by Sheldon (as well as eventually falling for him haha♡) However, from the moment Amy came in, Sheldon was able to give us the answer that both surprises and amazes us all!! The air they had between them, I was even more intrigued as I ever was with the series! The show is amazing in all forms; the story, the outstanding comedic humour, the funniest scenes, the most beloved characters. Yet, the relationship between Sheldon and Amy had always stood out for me. Sheldon has shown to have the most beautiful character-development in TV history. And Shamy is wonderfully the cutest thing I've ever seen!! Their moments is the best scenes for me, never failing to make my heart jump, leap, give somersaults, and especially sink in the sad moments (not spoiling heh). They are my favorite love story and perhaps the best in television!! Their intimate moments is so sweet and their love is so shy & innocent, I just can't handle it! And of course, they always leave us wanting more heh. The power they have over me.. when the smallest detail and the smallest touch is enough to make me be a pathetic fangirl😂 And when did Mr. Cooper become the most romantic man there is??? This is THE Sheldon we're talking about! The one his friends couldn't believe will fall in love. Yet Amy walked in and changed everything💘 Yup, she unknowingly reeled him in, and he unknowingly fell in deep for her. The cutest thing ever... Like Sheldon Cooper had said, "fascinating".

My FAVORITE song! I saw the Beach Boys in concert in the 80s. It was pouring rain and I was on the grass covered under a plastic poncho and when the song started I threw the poncho off and danced in the rain! Carl Wilson, the voice of an angel sings my favorite song!

I loved this song from my past. I went thru the same exact dilemma as Sheldon, for the same song. Such a cool song that over time has not been played. Anyway, thank you Sheldon and the Big Bang Theory for bringing this wonderful back to life.
