Former Westlife front man, Shane Filan, spoke to Pat Kenny about loving his solo concerts and how the band finally came to an end.

I just finished reading Shane's book. It's wonderful. The support of his family is awesome and his resiliance is legendary. Way to go, Shane. Of course, now Westlife is back together and things are sorting out. Love this group so much.

That a very brotherly and respectful decision he made not to tell the other boys his situation, he could've gotten helped from them but didn't want to ruin anything for them

he is so selfless to think that he never want any of his bandmates to ne bothered because he wants everybody to be focused on their final weekend ,,,singing with all his heart inspite of his difficult times was so amazing,,big salute to him

They're so close to each other, yet he doesn't want the other boys included in his personal problem, because he doesn't want they worried. I'd be mad if I am the other boys, they will undoubtedly helped him!

The west life success is the team work, it’s hard for them alone to be succeeded. People love the combination of each voices, each look and each individual. Without it, it’s hard. So many talented people are out there, but most are not famous...but it doesn’t hurt to come out reunion once in few years?!?!

Very few people from a pop group go big solo. Two UK singers Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow did it but it is rare. Shane is talented but stronger in Westlife than as a solo artist. Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas had a few hit songs solo but never an successful as when they were in Jonas Brothers band. I am guessing Shane doing this westlife reunion tour partly for financial reasons. I hope Shane is doing well financially.

Shane let his fame get to his head to buy and spend. He will have to work hard to recoup his financial lost. No the other members should not have to give money to Shane due to the crash in his real estate investment. I do hope the others are doing well financially & personally.
