I love Shane. The first time I listened to one of his poems was in my 7th grade Literature class, we were writing spoken word poems and for an example, my teacher had us listen to To This Day. I cried. Since then I have love him..

Oh god I need a tissue. Suffering with depression and then hearing this, a poem that hits so close to home that it feels like it was made for me. With me being raised by my grandparents and looking for love but finding loneliness, I mean it is just so amazing .

"People cry not because they're weak. It's because they've been strong for too long." I put up a shield so that people wouldn't get to me, so that people can't hurt me. They kept trying, and it made my shield ware down, it made me sensitive and now people barely have to try to hurt me, but I'll still cry.

So I was looking at some of the comments and there like from a year ago but I'm still going to comment at school sometimes we watch your video "To This Day" and every year ever since I saw that I have done and based my work off of it it's so inspiring and I can't get over it back in grade one and two I went to a big school with a lotta kids I was never liked there the older grades would pick on me and call me names I would be left out of the group and you know how teachers are always telling you to tell someone about it I never did I always thought I would get in trouble I moved away from that school in grade four and went to a smaller one only fifty three kids at the end of grade five things started going down hill I started to cut and I wasn't ever going to be good enough for anyone one day I took my sweater off and the girl beside pointed them out she then told the teacher and I have to take counselling now I'm currently in grade seven and the bullying thing has started up again I get hit at schhol called names and picked on for everything I'm into the kids say Ima freak because I'm not like the rest of them I've just learned to deal with it I honestly love your videos and they have helped me so much your words are so deep and so touching that you have taken all of my words out of my mouth because after every video I watch I just sit there and think "He's right" and then I just go on with my life but pleaseMake more poems pleassseee ^^

Dishonored Assassin Not only that, but different people sound difderently when they're at different stages of one too many glasses. The fuck do you know? Were you there? Do you know whether he drank that night? And if he didn't, what the hell does it matter that I thought he sounded drunk? It's not pejorative. I'm emitting no judgment, merely a perception, and the question mark shows my uncertainty. Clearly I'm not being a jerk so get off your high horses, would you? What if he was tipsy, after all. How is that a problem? The poem is really heartfelt, maybe he did drink maybe he's just choked up. Either you don't need to jump at a stranger's face on the internet for perceiving things differently than you do.
