That's one of the first things my trainer taught me, never over extend when catching a shot it's more so catching than it is parrying. He was flyweight national amateur champ in Puerto Rico in the 1970s Luis Melendez. I was lucky to learn a lot from him

Show him how to set up! But first work on his defense and how to anticipate a set up or he’s gonna get caught easy also work on the foot work his brother has an advantage he can power his way through most of the fight and has a good defense and chin but this kid looks smart he can develop quick

Amado got booed here in the valley... He fought some kid from Tamaulipas who was winning the first couple rounds but then around the 3rd Amado caught him with a body shot which brought the kid down to his knee but Amado kept punching him while he was on the ground.. then did the same thing again in the later rounds
