Love it..I do slide 1 stringers . I use a screw as a nut and brass bolt for bridge.. Easy and fun to make. Grand kids love em....

Can you help me establish a starting point? This particular build of your's is of special interest because it's acoustic and aesthetically gorgeous! One stringed instruments have been played since Greek and Roman times, and include gut and gourds in African culture (pre berimbau) all I want to do is satisfy my level of craft and entertain myself (and others eventually). Considering that I've never played a stringed instrument, could you suggest for a first attempt? I can do copper frets.
