Shang-chi not only masters the martial arts, but also honours them. He is a true warrior who does not fight for the taste of battle but for claiming peace. His nobility and skill is what makes him one of the most esteemed martial artist in Marvel.

COVID-19 happened. That said, expect MARVEL Entertainment to release the trailer for MARVEL Studios' Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings after, the film release of MS' Black Widow. Black Widow is scheduled is to be released in movie theaters in the United States of America on May 7, 2021. SCatLotTR is scheduled to be released in theaters in the USA on July 9, '21.

@King Kong 1st. I said "expect" since I don't know when ME will release the SCatLotTR trailer, but ME could release the trailer any day now. 2nd. Again, COVID-19 happened and ME is most likely releasing trailers closer to the release dates. Notice ME hasn't release TV ads for BW and the film releases May 7. And also, ME has to promote WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, BW & Loki before SCatLotTR.

I hope the movie does him justice. So far, the one thing I am not hearing from the actors or anyone involved is how good the fights scenes will be. They downplay the martial arts and don’t even talk about things like stunt work. It’s a Shang-Chi movie. That should be the most important thing. He doesn’t have powers, he’s just the best fighter in the world.

I feel like that character is based off of Bruce Lee cuz some of the stuff it listed is what Bruce Lee did like master kung fu and martial arts and philosophy stuff

Totally. Shang-Chi was created back in the 70s during the Bruce Lee and kung fu movies craze. He's basically Bruce Lee's character from Enter the Dragon, where he works with spy agencies to beat terrorists and stuff. His old comics read like a James Bond series, but the hero is a chinese martial arts master.

I'm really encouraged by this 101 vid not mentioning the dumb cloning power he was given in a (relatively) recent storyline. Hoping the movie gives us the Bruce Lee/Jason Bourne spycraft story that was the heart of Shang's books from his 70s-80s comics run.

@King Kong i think it may have something to do with Mortal Kombat, they waited for MK trailer to drop first as it's due out first, which makes sense. So im now expecting Shang Chi trailer to drop after MK release in april, earlier if we are lucky.

I wish he ran his own super team with Luke Cage again. Maybe with Night Thrasher (Donyell Taylor) and Dwayne Tayler alive. Maybe another storyof things not what they seem. They could have a joint story because both brothers can fight very well and so can Shang Chi with Toni Ho, White Tiger and others. They could help each other future in Marvel, creating new story lines for Shang Chi characters and beginning a new story for the Night Thrashers joining X Factor (or Agents of Wakanda probably more exciting adventures in Africa and America).

Shang Chi should use magic to rival iron fist. Something to make his story become bigger. Partner with Cat Huie, Wong, White Tiger, Spider Woman, Constrictor, Night Thrasher (Donyell and Dwayne), Pyslocke, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

@@ajdm168 1st. Actually between BW & SCatLotTR is two months. 2nd. I think due to COVID-19, MARVEL Studios is releasing film trailers closer to the scheduled release dates than before, in order to avoid releasing trailers too early just in case the films get pushed back even further. 3rd. MS has to focus on WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, BW & Loki before SCatLotTR.
