As a professional lifeguard/swim instructor, I can tell you that that's definitely not how you should breathe underwater. If you tried inhaling underwater like he is, your lungs would be filled with water, and you'd drown faster than you would think possible.

The water would have to touch your bronchioles in your lungs since humans have no gills. And on they VERY off chance you manage to seperaite the oxygen from the hydrogen in the water its such a small ammount it would make no impact. Plus the fact that filling your lungs with water causes a reflex making you projectile vomit it back up.

That was incredible! One question: How do you hold do that without inhaling water through your nose?

i used to do this as a kid, i still wonder how im still alive (it wasn't exactly breathing since you didn't pull water into your lungs, i personally would say it feels like pulling water into your tubes without it reaching the lungs)
