So you are a travel blogger and you wanna come to Shanghai. I get it, you want to see the water town, the walking street, the Bund and the FFC. But let's face it, we've all seen this vlog a million times. Especially recently, youtube keeps my feed full of this same content repeated by each and every new vlogger on their first trip to Shanghai. Well after you've got the typical sights and sounds out of the way, here is a few tips for some other places to go and things to eat to help spice up the content just a little bit.

impressive :) Shanghai looks a lot different than I expected,I had been to China a number of time. It is probably one of the safest place on earth. Over here you will see friendly people, who want to take pictures with you, superb infrastructure, very conveniences to go around from city to city.All of my western friends who made visits to China came back with extremely high praises on China, on every aspect, such as friendliness of the people, the obvious and overt displays of happiness and satisfaction with their lives, the amount of true freedom.

If you’ve only got 12 hours stick to the tried and true places ! Head to the bund and the former French concession. You can get some good food and views and strong first impression of Shanghai.

Julu Rd., Kangding Rd., Wuding Rd..... a lots of areas are also good places to have a chill night. Tons of different bars & bistros with affordable prices.

I love the north bund ,west bund than the bund, Shanghai looks much better in the Spring, summer and autumn than the winter. Which city do you like better? Shanghai or Shenzhen😀

Ahhh haha. Only guy on YT who’s mentioned KTV. There’s probably also a few bathhouses people can visit, though they’re fewer and further between nowadays.

Yea used to be lots of “international “ bathhouses and ktv , still around but less obvious for sure. China has changed 😭

Tangbao and xiaolongbao are different foods. Tangbao is made by crab and pork, and it is larger than xiao long bao. Welcome to Jingjiang in Jiangsu to try the real Tangbao. Jingjiang is the origin of Xiehuang Tangbao.❤
