My grandmother practiced it and she’s long gone. I wish I could ask her what made her convert to Christianity before she passed

@@Knottyautumn My maternal grandmother was a devout Catholic. However, she still listened to Rara music (which is very popular with Vodou practitioners in Haiti). This was also applicable to my paternal grandmother. She was also a Christian. But also maintained strong ties to the vodou tradition. If I had to take an educated guess? There will always be a 'dual' innate need for ancestral identity as well as eternal salvation. I hope this will shed some light on your 'unanswered' question.

Lwe/Loa, are the "God's" spirits, of vodoun that are involved in helping people in daily life, they were created by the "God" Damballa, Blessed Be.

Lol not similar they got that from the Black myths. Don't be fooled they even show the Vikings had contact with Africa and other Black continents and if you look to deep you'll discover who the original people of Scandinavia was ✊🏿. Don't fall for their stuff or make our stuff equal because it's not that stole or remixed stuff from their BLACK ancestors 😂

Songo is not the king of the gods. Olorun or olodumare is king of the gods. Shong is far from the king of the gods, obatala is the next after olodumare. Then the listen go on please make a solid finding before make this videos
