Great playing Elia. Did not know you were a lefty. I sure miss the days I had the honor of studing with the worlds best teacher Murray Spivack, at his West Hollywood studio. When I first called Murray about getting on with him he said he had 48 guys in line waiting to get in with him and unfortunately he told me he could not take me but would be happy to put me in line at number 49. But we ended up talking about all kinds of things for about 20 -30 minutes and he ends of say.ing. Well OK, you haven’t been playing all that long so you shouldn’t have to many bad habits we can’t break so he says be here at 10 am on such and such day 2 weeks later. Best thing I ever did was making that call and he got me straightened out in no time and taught me his awesome hand and finger technique and gave me a piece of rubber to make a practice pad with and had me get a metronome and started working on single and double stroke rolls. After getting with Murray I was lucky to be able to practice a minimum 6-12 hrs a day, in a nice air conditioned sound proof room? So I could practice at any time, day or night without bothering anyone. Then after I was done around 10pm I’d shower and hit the Red Onion in Redondo Beach Ca. Or other live band clubs.

Hi. You are so cool. Its such a Privilege to hear you solo. I think Shania Twain is cool, but I never hear it. But I'm extreme interested in Music generaly, and to hear the Audio so isolated is something you never be able to hear elsewhere. Thank you so much and also to Shania Twain that she allowed these videos, I can imagine that a lot of Artists are not so generously. Just to listen the whole mixdown would be better, but for drum interested People this is awesome. Best whishes for all of you from Hamburg/Germany. Tim.

Great technical decision, as a former rock radio DJ and Program Director, audio is a natural highlight for me. In this case, it's really cool to "hear" this isolation. Love this! Audio production is in my blood...lol

In answer to your question Elijah, and as an ex-drummer, I loved it. I notice you have changed snare heads from spotted to plain, any reason for this? I love the constant pushing force that you give the tracks, really drives it along (although the background track probably has a bit of delay anyway) My question - click-track, flashy light or just perfect in-built timekeeping?
