This game is the proof that a 2D game can still be good.

This looks pretty cool. Hopefully they up the difficulty and not make most of the enemies stand around like lambs waiting to be slaughtered in the final version.

@Demonwave5434 - Oh I'm fine taking 20 hits to kill a guy, but at least give him a limp, a scar, or otherwise show SOME damage after the 15th hit....the blood spray is nice, but once the guy gets up you can't even tell if he's the one you just dropped. In 2010 that sort of detail - which is both cool and has gameplay value - is expected.

it feels wierd seing enemies stand right up just after having a chainsaw finisher type move done to them. I think it would b e better to make them die a bit faster and then make them a bit more agressive to make up for it. Right now they`re slow and dimwitted and take a bunch of hits to kill.

thta character really needs a roll to dodge some of that bosses moves cause you can get caught pretty easily up close

Yeah it would be really cheap to be able to one or two hit the enemies. You want to see a game that takes what you're talking about to the extreme? Look up dishwasher samurai or whatever it was called. Took forever to kill anyone.

Enemies have to much health. I think it will be annoying after a while.. The rest looks funny and entertaining.

Shank 2 did a better job of flowing your attacks together. But if anything it made the game way too easy to play.

Ok, yes, perhaps looks boring if you compare this with Call Of Duty or similar games. But the people like me who grow up with real arcades machines, using coins to play Final Fight, Punisher, Vendetta or similar games... Oh yeah...We understand the concept. :D Time ago, games like this were real funny... Looks like the old "Titus the fox" with more blood and guns.

the art style is really a master piece very beautiful ...but dump enemies can make it really sick game .....and there must be another actions but killing dump enemies .....this game can end up as a boring beautiful cartoon

Why does it take 1000 hits to kill someone? Because you'd beat the game too fast otherwise? Enemies look lethargic, killing them looks repetitive to the extreme. Nice idea and style, a few big gameplay tweaks and I'd probably enjoy it.

i bought the full game of this on xbox live today and its sick. I love it but the only problem with the game is that the bosses are sooooooooo har to beat.
