I have been investing for 20+ years, I a 46. 100% of my large caps made money. 99% of my small caps lost money. Remember: In 1990s when I applied for SBI IPO, it was at 90, and it was considered "Expensive". After that my 50 shares have become 750 shares with bonus and splits, and price is almost 700. In 10 years time what is 1000 will be equal to 10,000. People like Shankar get a LOT of information that we retail can't get. And when it comes to transparency no one can beat large caps. So, do as you wish but keep a ratio and not all in small caps. There are small cap companies that show revenue an profit and they do ZERO dhanda.

thanks your info is valid. Large caps are more safer than smal caps. If smal cap falls they will not even revive the way large cap comes up. most imp is info we dont have access to

I also believe that large cap shares has not much to deliver though some are good. Go with the momentum stocks and pay due tax as well don't get emotionally attached. Keep shifting with momentum stocks.

To my opinion Shankar Sharma is quite unhappy with present government, as his personal holdings had a bad bad beating .... Also he is just too smart... Just to get out of dumb stocks he names them and retailers just start pumping... . He shud rather not name when he is making money...rather be specific on sectoral themes . Actually these big names rather mislead small retailers on big news channels. He has made good money in last so many years and is living his life in chill mode . Wine , dine and shine . All his interviews now reflects his frustrations rather than his achievements.
