What's crazy is, he's not the best Observation Haki user the in verse. Based on Volume 4 Billion that was given away in Japanese theatres during the Film Red release, it was revealed that Yasopp can continuously see the Future, unlike Katakuri and Shanks who can only see seconds ahead.

Just for Oden to hop back ready for round two while Captain Kidd’s falling from floor to floor and soon into a whirlpool along with the remains of his ship and crew to possibly never be seen again after. So I agree, the weight in both attacks were on two separate scales. We can only imagine what would’ve happened to Oden and the rest of the island if Roger wanted to legitimately destroy Oden 🤷🏾‍♂️

I wouldn't say Shanks is evil. He doesn't go out of his way to commit crimes (other than the crime of being a pirate). But like that doesn't mean the dude is afraid get dirty and do the things that need doing. As long as your not standing in the way if his objective or pointing a weapon at his friends your good. Before he took of, he sent word to Dorry & Broggy to get ready. Which means after his vision, he'd already made up his mind that the Kid Pirates were done.
