Came here after watching that fight. IT looks like the leg kicks weren't thrown that powerful and didn't have any effect. It's hilarious that he was actually crying inside the whole time hahaha

I remember not understand the effectiveness of leg kicks when I first started watching mma, so I asked my friend to land one on me… kicked me right in the thigh, and I never want to eat another one of those ever again in life lol

@@noetic8 1st time I took a leg kick from an experienced fighter - I had the thigh pads on. He kicked me about low to medium power. It still dropped me my knees. it took me a few seconds for my leg to start working again so I could stand back up😆

Shannon seems like the one boxer that would actually be able to take mma seriously and do well while every other champion boxers that dabbled in mma thought mma was inferior and didn’t prepare for all aspects of the sport thinking they can rely on their boxing skills alone like James Toney and Ray Mercer. I can’t think of any other high level champion boxers that tried to do mma at a high level
