Never did anything on NFL level, but in high school I was a member of a national championship level NJROTC team. We drilled with Marines, they would work with our school Instructors to come over from the local Naval Base. They instilled in us that our competition wasn’t the other schools, it was ourselves. We weren’t chasing them… we were chasing perfection. If we chased perfection winning would come. Snap. Precision. Alignment. Timing. Focus. Execution. We would go to drill competitions and win 8 out of 10 first place trophies and leave frustrated…yeah we were good…but we werent perfect.

But if we chase perfection, we will catch excellence." I was always saying the Eagles coaching staff should go back and watch some of Vince's footage to gain some inspiration.

As a real Eagles fan born in Philly and living in Philly I knew we were in trouble back in week 1🤷🏽‍♂️. This outcome wasn’t a shock and I’m not at all hurt. The Eagles have been showing me all season that if they don’t get super lucky they can be easily beat by anyone. The majority of the wins my birds got this season were due to missed calls by the refs, lucky bounces, dropped passes by the opposing team etc. We never dominated in all phases of the game this entire season and I don’t know that I could even say that about seasons when they finished below .500 and without them even making the playoffs. This team was trash and even at 10-1 I thought they were boring to watch and just plain lucky. I’ll be an Eagles fan for life so as always I will now move onto concentrating on my Sixers and I’ll be looking forward to the NFL draft and FA.

I am an Eagles fan and true Eagles fans were complaining about the glaring holes even during several of the wins. We just thought they would get fixed, and they never did. Then we knew they were one and done. After that 4-game "gauntlet", the Eagles were 2 and 2, which was not bad but, I was already saying that I don't care if they win the next 3 "easy" games. It does not matter because they cannot stop anyone and because they have not fixed anything, they will be blown out in the playoffs. I said that after that gauntlet of games. After they went 1-3 in those last 3 games, I said that the Eagles don't even deserve to be on the field in the playoffs at all.

I saw this coming. Even when they were winning they were barely winning, nearly all their games were close. There were a lot of warning signs even when they were winning. People just ignored it cause they were winning.

Teams had a whole season of game film to study from 2022 to find out how the Eagles operate and how to beat them, so teams updated their game plans. Even when they started 10-1 anyone watching could tell that they'd been figured out and it was going to come back to bite them if they didn't evolve. They didn't evolve.

@@Dru2037that’s not an excuse though. I’m a lifelong Bucs fan and even I can recognize that the Eagles should have still squeaked out a win regardless. The Eagles made some head scratching decisions on offense and that is because of coaching. I for sure though that the Eagles were gonna run it down our throats tonight but for some reason they abandoned the run early and relied on a less than 100% Hurts. It was wild to watch tbh but we’ll take it. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Also, the Bucs defense has been solid all year long…we never got embarrassed this season on D except for like 2 or 3 games the entire year. We deserve props too.
