I still say to THIS DAY Romo had roid rage. That dude had ALL the classic signs. One of the nastiest guys to ever play in the NFL. He hurt teammates he was 100% out of control. Back in the day that Romo did it I'm shocked a couple of guy didn't beat the $#%^ out of him after practice one day. He did it habitually...

As a white dude, I never considered the racial implications of spitting on a black dude I've never spit on anybody. I"m also in the South and just wouldn't do it out of respect for people. But I see it between like Rondo and CP3 (or whoever it was) and I'm like you deserve to get your ass whooped for that. But I never realized that it is and would be different for a white dude to spit on a black dude. Respect Shannon. I like learning about the black culture and the locker rooms behind the scenes. He's country as hell though. I don't think I knew that about him. Hell of a player back in the day though. Boyyyyyy was he fun to watch.

Used to work at a breakfast restaurant out in the Bay Area where this woman was constant pain in the rear end about EVERYTHING from the moment she walked into the door. One day she wanted to be on a wait list and the wait was about an hour. Her name? Romanowski. About 20 minutes go by, and Bill walks up to the podium asking how much longer was the wait. I looked at the sheet and said "40 minutes" He shrugged, said "okay" and then walked back outside. It was not how I expected the interaction to go

Totally right again. You spit on someone to be disrespectful. You go Tuh Tuh “You give me a terrible taste in my mouth” feigning spitting on the ground, when you’re being disrespected. Grown men on the football field shouldn’t be disrespecting opponents. You fight that guy, not spit. Now Shannon is fully correct to address this rather than ignore, when it happened. Bill took accountability because he addressed it. If there was a reason behind it, Bill would of had the opportunity to discuss then. What else is he going to say, that was wrong. This bring on video is perfect…because there’s no fabrication of story occurring.

Do I miss the physicality of the game? Yes. But Romanowski was a dirty player and a psycho. He openly spoke about deliberately breaking players fingers to get the ball. It was players like him that thought the violence of the game was a green light to play dirty that forced the league to clean it all up. If the Romanowskis were still in the league, we wouldn’t get the longevity we’re seeing out of players today.
