Shana, I have a tip for if you don’t have gold flakes. (I got this tip from Joie de Fi) Paint up some brown scrap paper, Amazon brown paper they stuff in boxes, or paper bags, with gold craft paint and glue down torn off bits and pieces to enhance your work. Works very effectively. 👍🏽

What I hate is music in craft videos, but what I do love is hearing the paper sounds even if it's playing fast and the volume can be low -- I ❤ it like that

i LOVE no background music. Not everyone has the same tastes in music, and I get tired of turning the volume up and down trying to catch speaking. I applaud you for allowing quiet moments in your videos even though I love listening to your tips and tricks. You also have great lighting and a good background.

Really enjoyed this series you put together. You work similar to me with flipping back and forth and moving things around. I also appreciate that you only talk when you are telling about a element or how to create something. So many times people try to just try to fill in the silence and repeatedly use the same words to describe an elements that is becomes obnoxious. On the other end when others speed up the filming without any explanation of what they are doing is just as irritating. You have found the perfect mix! I ordered from your sisters site today. What a treat to have an hour long video from you. I walk away with several useful bits of information I will try…use repeated elements rather than something new on each page, the variety of ways to use gold leaf, the application of pattern paper over a page to diffuse failed attempts.
