Just gorgeous... Fabulous colour combination, and I love the sea theme. Loads of interesting texture, too. I like your use of the scrap of cardstock where you'd punched out the holes. I keep my medication pack leaflets which are already accordion folded, and punch holes in them before unfolding them. When you unfold them you get a kind of random but organised pattern of holes, if that makes sense! I stencil through them which colours them and gives me another interesting background, and I can tear them up and use them in collage.

So gorgeous! It’s so refreshing to see a junk journal that isn’t all brown. I love those of course but these mermaid colors really change things up. Love your videos!! I’m often turned off by all the chattering so find yours really calming!

Thank you for saying there are no right or wrong ways to decorate your journal. I feel so inadequate when looking at all the beautiful work you and others do on KZfaq. I've only been doing this for a few months and can definitely see improvement. One day I hope to make something that I feel so proud of that I will actually share it!

This is a really Great Journal. I love the shaker card that you made. But the page you tore out, the splattered one, was one I really liked, LOL. I had even gone back to it several times to look at it again. It's so funny how everyone's taste can be so different, you keep going back to it because you didn't care for it, and I keep going back to look at it because I did like it.🤣😂🙃 I'm learning a lot as I watch your video's, Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge with your community of viewers.

I’ve already used the technique of coloring cheesecloth by rubbing ink pad on acrylic block spray a little water and pushing the cloth around to absorb the wet color. Love it. Plus the other way to color the background. Love you..

Thank you so much! Oh I get strings too, not sure how not too, I just use a tweezer or my fingers to remove them. I do however have a good hot glue gun that is not drippy at all which also helps minimise the strings 🤗💖

You inspired me to try I do mixed media badly but I keep trying. I must admit I became very happy doing my small project. It’s very addictive I hope to get much better but trying is what is fun. What kind of stick glue do you use mine doesn’t do well.

What size is this journal. It looks a little larger than what I usually make. What papers do you use for this size book? Love your work!

Thank you so much ❤ it slightly bigger than A5. I use and A4 paper folded in half as a rough guide, most of my papers are A4 folded in half. Hope that helps :-)

Usually what ever is nearest to me :-) but if am gluing thinner cardstock I tend to use a glue stick, for thicker cardstock, I use craft glue, and if something is chunky or sticking down to a lot of mixed media I use the hot glue gun. Hope this helps ❤️

Hi Wanda, it has many purposes, you could keep it as a nice to look at on your coffee table, or you could use it as an art journal, dream journal, scrapbook, photo album, diary etc :-)
