@@linnh940 it is totally worth it. im only on the 1st week, and it is pulling me out of severe anxiety and ptsd. no need for meds anymore.

There is intent behind every movement, stationary in old world knowledge. It is very interesting how the different philosophies embodies the same ideas, while also opposite. The complimentary to my abstract ideas.

My understanding is that at some point zen buddhism split into two leaderships. Matsu and shi shou. Ma'tsu created tye zen style of fighting. Shi shou the compassionate. I always took bodidharma to he the accumulated tales if several masters for ease of telling and teaching. I really enjoyed hearing what us accepted as truth.

I love the Shaolin Masters because its very close to Buddhism which once upon a time I was engaged in studying. The same time as I was practising Reiki and opening up to new spiritual guides...one of whom in a ritual called 'Drawing down the sun' my guide happened to be a Shaolin monk...it was a big blessing to have such a master as a guide! Those whom remove my comments do so because they have no faith and no belief in anything outside of themselves. Love and light to all that this Master teaches

It was the lightfighter ⚡. They knew magic. Unworthy greedy people wanted to know their secrets. So the stormed the temple. And they gave them nothing. It's a long story how I got to this knowledge. But magic is quite real. You're still unworthy.

Most shaolin master come across as cheasy and gimmicky to me but not him

This is exactly the problem. Evidently, this Shaolin martial Monk ( is he a real buddhist monk?) doesn’t study the Buddha’s teaching but rely on the Shaolin hearsay. This is not the Buddha’s teaching. Todays Shaolin teaching are big time created after the Chinese culture revolution. It is a disaster to have this type of presentation into the west. I am not attacking this monk but point out the problem of Chinese Buddhism today. Buddha’s teaching which was practiced at the era of Boddhidharma is Anapana sati ( samatha and Vipassana; and skeleton contemplation ) like todays Thailand or even Tibetan Buddhism practice so it doesn’t making any sense to say Boddhidharma created Yi jing jing and Xi Shui jing. ….. In fact that story was created by later in the Chinese history. The teaching of Boddhidharma brought to China or the mind seal of the Buddha has migrated to the six partiach HuiNeng zen teaching since thousand years ago no longer it is in Shaolin. As the Mahayana Buddhist sutra started with “ Thus, I have heard. The Buddha….” . It is time to speak with evidence on what it is instead of what one think it is. Or else the true Chinese Buddha’s teaching will be distorted. But then, the fact is it has been distorted today.
