I think what Shaq is getting at is one could have 19 bodies and be a loud mouth, the other could have 25 bodies and you’d never know cause he not as brash and boastful. Essentially Jordan was very verbal when it came to his game. He’d let you know there was nothing you could do to stop him. Whereas Bron never really opens his mouth against his opponents. He’s only vocal when it comes to leading his teammates, never against opponents. This is what I got from the analogy. I could be wrong cause Shaq just be talking sometimes.

@da1uCrave
@da1uCrave Жыл бұрын
@Rahman right , because lebron has been in the league longer at a time when medicine, training and efficiency is a lot more advanced. As well as physical play. So he basically has had an advantage. That's the same as a lot of particular records. Like home runs hit in the MLB.

@@da1uCrave dude in order to break records you have to play longer why is this hard to grasp?
@da1uCrave
@da1uCrave Жыл бұрын
@Hero in order to pay longer your body needs to hold up. Especially playing a 82 game schedule with some weeks playing up to 4 games in one week. Do you not think that the medicines and hyper chambers and things of today tp help with muscle recovery not assist in that ? Hell think about somebody like Vince Carter when he first started and now. Or all types of other players back in the 80s and 90s Think about the way the game is played now compared to the bad boys of Detroit who took players out and the tacky fouls that's called today for small slaps on the wrist. Or better yet think about all the traveling and carrying that's NOT CALLED in the NBA today. Half of LeBron points would have been turnovers as well as other players. So I stand by what I said

Bron don’t really take over games single handedly, he sticks to the same fundamental game plan from start to finish , where as Kobe and MJ would take over the game in the last quarter , both offense and defense they’d rather die on that court than lose. That’s what people saying. Kobe and MJ would not let anyone else shoot or no one else guard from top of the key , they wanted the game to be completely dependent on them , win or lose , they were the reason either way. Bron has no problem making the better play , if you drill and so and so does this , then you pass to so and so and he takes the shot , Bron will live and die by that , while MJ will say fuck this and pull up with double coverage. I’m a Packer fan and I compare it to Favre vs Rodgers , I’ll always hold Favre in higher regard because he played like MJ and Kobe. Rodgers will make the smarter play , throw the ball out of bounds , and trust the defense gives him one more shot. Favre would say fuck that , and throw a bomb into Triple Coverage not worried about stats or anything just trying to make something happen and win the game. That type of mentality doesn’t translate to better stats , but it’s part of the reason MJ and Kobe have more Championships than Bron. I use to defend Bron , but when he switched off of KD with the game on the line and KD sunk that 3 , I lost a Lot of respect for him there. You’re supposedly the best player in the world , wouldn’t having the best player in the world guarding the guy top of the key with the game on the line give you the best chance at victory?? It’s like he gives up sometimes, he wants to be able to hit his stats and that’s it , then when they lose he gets to say , “well we didn’t lose because of me , look at my stats.” But then when they win he says , “look at my stats , we won because of me.” That’s a characteristic of weak mentality, and no one can convince me otherwise. And please if you aren’t old enough to have watched both of them play , then you can’t take part in this conversation, you can’t compare two things when you don’t know anything about one of the two. Young guys the only ones who say Bron is better and it’s simply because they never saw MJ. It’s not stupidity, just ignorance, so I don’t hold it against them.
