Though Dastak did not do well in Box Office, I loved Sharad Kapoor’s negative role in that film. Every time I see that film on TV, I could take his eyes off. It’s like that role was made for him

Very nice episode Hoshang ji. Hats off to you for presenting the stories of lesser known personalities and giving them their due recognition. I feel that Sharad Kapoor's acting abilities did not get utilised fully. In films where he got good roles, his potential was visible. You missed to mention perhaps one of his best roles which was in the film Lakshya with Hrithik Roshan, where he played the character of Major Sengupta. It was a small role in a large ensemble cast containing much more prominent actors, but Sharad's understated and dignified performance still left a deep impression. Wishing him all the very best.

Sharad Kapoor, Nirmal Pandey and Shiney Ahuja . These three actors played hero , Villain , anti hero . They are powerful characters . It becomes very difficult for the director to put them in hero or villain . They have both traits of a hero or villain as an actor . So it is very confusing. With changing scripts and new plots , it is very difficult to get roles .

bhai inki DOB kya thik h kyuki Dastak 1996 mein release hui thi aur shooting around 1995 mein hui hogi.Aur inka DOB 1976 h. kya ye bs 19 saal ke the bhai lag toh 30 he rhe h ye.
