I thought about that too. I didn't share it with others. I wondered just how many went under the ground without knowing Jesus. The gospel is simple. Deny yourself, pick up your cross and go after Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. And give your heart 100% all of it to Christ.

I shared the gospel with my friend after having all these thoughts. It was a text because we met online but he didn't acknowledge it at all... I felt so stupid. It did ruin our relationship a little bit but it was worth it. I can't say I sleep that much better though... He's still not saved and I'm worried I pushed him away. I tried so hard to word it in a way that wouldn't though. I think a big thing I learned from all this is to do it in person and know what you're talking about- educate yourself in apologetics and stuff.

just as encouragement: you never know what seed you just planted what the words you said and how they can effect that persons life and start their relationship with Christ they may not accept what you say in that exact moment but years later it could be apart of their testimony of how they came to Christ; this is something I’m actively learning is that even a simple “Jesus loves you” can change someone’s entire life ❤️🙏🏾

If you were to die today are you 100% sure that you would not go to hell? No one is guaranteed another day on this Earth. I'd like to share my best friend's story with anyone who will listen. Precious Memories- By Sonya Lakey We had no idea that the evening of September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our oldest son played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for him (which he usually did for himself) for the church hike he was going on the following day. My mom, who was visiting from out of state, and I got up early with him on Saturday morning to hug him and see him off. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own. As he pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mom and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw our 16 year old son. He did not make it home that night. That afternoon, a friend had tried to contact us, leaving a message on the phone to call back due to an emergency, but we really had no clue what was going on. And though we tried several times to return the call, we were not able to make a connection. As I helped prepare supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan and dread filled my heart, and I quietly blinked back tears. I looked out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pulling in, but no. However, within minutes, a police car DID pull in our driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst, but I went outside to speak with him. He confirmed who I and my husband (who followed me out) were, then hesitantly told us our son had fallen off a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed.... Still are. Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, we have such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son again. You see, even as a young boy, Ethan realized some very important truths from God's Word. He had sinned against a righteous, holy and just God. The Bible says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12) He understood that his sin separated him from God, and he deserved to spend eternity in Hell. “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) He understood he could not pay the price for his sins. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Ethan realized that, 'though he could not pay the price for his sins, the price had already been paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus lived a perfectly sinless life. He had no fault of His own. But Jesus was crucified for our sins, and He took on Himself the sins of every person in the whole world. He was beaten, spit on, whipped, mocked, scourged, and nailed to the Cross of Calvary. He shed every drop of His righteous blood - because that was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous God - so we could be made righteous in Him. He suffered all of that so Ethan - and you and I - would not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire, but so we could spend eternity in Heaven with HIM! THAT is a great LOVE. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) Jesus did not stay on the cross, nor did He stay in the tomb where His body was buried. Three days later, Jesus arose triumphant over sin and death and the grave. Ethan believed this with his whole heart, asked Jesus to forgive his sins, and he put his faith in Jesus Christ ALONE to save him from sin and eternal death and to take him to Heaven someday. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28) Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus and others. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. We know he is alive in Heaven with Jesus today, and we know we will see him again soon, not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour! What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day? Would your family, though grieving, be able to rejoice in the knowledge that they would see you again in Heaven, or would you be burning in Hell today? The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) Have YOU trusted Jesus as YOUR Saviour? Have you asked Jesus to forgive you so you can go to Heaven & not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire? Tomorrow may be too late. As Ethan pulled out of sight that morning, we had no idea we would never see him again in this life. None of us have the promise of tomorrow! Put your faith in Jesus alone - today! “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2) "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. When you see a building, you know there is an builder. When you see a painting, you know there is a painter although the builder or the painter may of died hundreds of years ago. So when you see creation, you know there is a creator, and that creator is God. In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth. To not believe in God is to believe that nothing created something, that is impossible for nothing to create something. Say if there was an explosion that created or cause everything, where did the elements come from that exploded. See it is a never ending cycle, the only truth is to affirm that God has no beginning and no end and he created all things. The creator is greater than his creation. So we can not put him on the same level as a man. All men have a beginning, but God had no beginning no end because he is not a created being. God is one being 3 distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Each person is fully God, all co eternal and co equal. The Father is not the Son and the Son is not the Holy Spirit. They are distinct. Jesus is the second person of the Godhead the Son of God. The Father sent the Son ( Jesus ) to be born by the power of the Holy Spirit through a virgin named Mary. He was miraculously born. He is one person with 2 natures. Fully God and fully man. Jesus submitted himself to the Father in his humanity and lived a perfect life he was obedient until death on a cross. This is the legal implications of the cross, the 10 commandments is God's moral law and Gods standard is moral perfection. Here is some of them: You shall not lie, You shall not steal, You shall not commit adultery ( Jesus said whoever looks at a woman to lust has committed adultery with her in his heart, the same goes for a woman lusting after a man, And you shall not murder ( whoever is angry with someone is a murderer at heart), You shall have no gods before me ( This is to make up a God to suit yourself ) Do not take the name of the Lord Your God in vain ( Things like saying OMG and using God's name as meaningless or replacing a four letter filth word with God's name or Jesus Christ. To violate just one commandment is to be guilty of breaking the whole law. The wages of sin is death and punishment in hell which is God's prison. The punishment is eternal because God is eternal, We broke God's law and Jesus paid our fine. If you are in court and have a stack of speeding tickets and somebody pays your fine the Judge can let you go free even though you are guilty. That is what Jesus did for us on the cross. He gave his life so that sinners maybe reconciled to God and be free of the coming Judgment. He paid our wages our fine. It is appointed once to die and after this comes the Judgment. That is why Jesus last words on the cross was IT IS FINISHED! He finished paying the debt. He was buried and rose from the grave on the 3rd day defeating death proving he was who he claimed to be. God is so good he must punish sin, we will have to pay for our own sin if we reject the only person who took God's wrath for sin. There is no other name under heaven in which we might be saved. In order to be saved from God's wrath we need to repent ( turn from sin) and trust in Jesus alone not our own goodness. We can not be good because we have already broken God's law that requires perfect obedience. Jesus kept the law for us, when we repent and trust in him. His perfect life gets credited to our account, so when God the Father looks at us he sees you as perfect and righteous. (Please consider this) Suppose a murder rapes a woman and slits her throat but stands before the judge and says I help older women cross the street and give to the poor, a just Judge would say I am not judging based on the works you perform but judging you based on the crimes that you have committed. In the same way good works can not save us. God is rich in mercy for all who call upon him. Turn from your sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone and you will inherit the Kingdom of God and live forever

About a year ago I met a guy at work. I didn't care too much for him, based on his general attitude but he would say Hi and what-not. We worked a very long week and I saw him sitting there on our break and thought, "All I have to do is go over and give him one of these tracts ive got...but, no, he looks real tired. We're ALL tired. It can wait till Monday when we've had sleep." I came back Monday and was informed he had been killed in an incident.

For life is but a vapour, appearing for a time and then disappearing; we've no idea how long or short our time left on earth is ⏳ How many people could we touch with Jesus's love today? Sometimes I become so caught up in the monotony of life that I neglect to display His love. It's time for me to stop being like Jonah & avoiding what God wants me to do/say. For God will always accomplish His will in the end, and if we resist the work He's commissioned for us, it only hardens our hearts to His beautiful love ♥️ When we submit to His way, He softens us to hear Him clearly, and to know the truth and abide in it. And _He gives us the power_ to be bold. (Where God guides, He provides!!) In situations where we think we would surely fail- where we stand and no one stands with us- _His power_ prevails. There are many amazing instances of this in the bible, where 'unlikely' individuals were called by Jehovah to do great things (especially in the old testament, e.g Joseph, Moses, David etc.) "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also". What are we willing to sacrifice to share the message of salvation today? If we have died to the flesh then surely there is no sacrifice at all 🙏
