You’re welcome. There are about 7 rooms in the apartment so yes, you’ll get separate rooms. You have the option of booking two rooms so you both can be in the same apartment.

How much is the shared apartment per month? Do you pay per week or monthly basis? Also do you think the shared apartment is better even tho I think it’s cheaper?

It’s £98 per week which is about £392 per week. My rent is for 29 weeks and there are only two installment payments, so we don’t pay per week or per month. Well, it depends on what you’re looking for. In terms of price, yes it’s cheaper but it’s not so close to the university. Houses closer to the university are more expensive, so it actually depends on what you’re looking for.

Pls, before you made the deposit of £90, did you pay grantor fee first? If yes, how much is the grantor fee? Are there accommodations that one can get without grantors too?

No I didn’t pay a guarantor fee. I have family here, so they are my guarantors. I’m not sure there are but you can check on Zoopla or Right Move Apps and make enquiries too.

Im thinking of moving in this accom in september but ive seen its quite far from city center and uni, are there free uni buses availible?? How do u find the transportation and is there stuff to do around the site? Xx thank uuu

It’s not so far from the city center, it’s about 15-20 minutes walk. There are free uni buses from the city center, so you would have to walk down to the city center or get on a mickleover bus which is about £2.50. It depends on the weather actually if it’s not so favorable, I take a bus to city center instead of walking. There’s a social space for games in the lodge. All of the fun places are in the city center.

Hello! Did you get your accommodation before moving to the UK? If yes, did they request for your BRP? Cause I’m really confused rn, I’m supposed to get my BRP on arrival but to get an accommodation they’re already asking for it. Help!

Hi Anjola, yes I did. They requested for it but I told them that I was still in Nigeria and they asked for my offer letter and student ID instead. Let them know what the situation and suggest alternatives.

Higher qualifications would imply your first degree if you’re applying for masters. I’m sure once you submit that you’ll get a response following. And I would employ that should be your original certificate and official transcript or student for the main time pending the unconditional offer!

@@bolaharrison Thank you! I actually applied for an Undergraduate program, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering. I submitted my WASSCE result during the Application, few weeks later I was asked again to submit a higher qualification. I resubmitted my WASSCE result and I haven’t gotten a response from them. I don’t know if that’s what they requested for. Can you help? Thanks

Yes, they are 100% safe and I don’t lock the fridge, actually it can’t be locked because it’s being shared by everyone in the apartment. We respect each other’s space, my flat mates are literally the sweetest

Also Chidmma, how did it take you to get your unconditional offer of admission. Mine is taking long already.... I got an admission since 2nd week of March. And they're yet to give me feedback having sent all required docs to them😥

My application process was frustrating. I applied in May 2021 and I got an offer in August to resume in September 2021. They apologized for the delay saying they had an overwhelming number of applications. So after I got the conditional offer, I sent the required documents and I got my unconditional offer second week in September. I guess that’s the same case this year, they have lots of applications. Just hang in there, you’ll get the unconditional offer soon ❤️

@@ChidinmaAmanzewow....so you mean you got an unconditional offer second week of September and you were to resume that same month too. So how were you able to process your CAS and VISA....or resumed January??

I must say, I'm very lucky then. I applied on Thursday 5, May and Tuesday 10 May I got an unconditional offer
