I think the blue is just her being really happy. If you don't romance her and don't go to Avernus, during the epilogue you can hug her and she glows blue (assuming you have a good reputation with her.) But that side YES OMG. She's so sweet and cute ahh I love her

Some may actually like the dominance, just one more thing great about Larien is they cover every angle of preference.

A lot of people are pretty convinced that AA made Tav/durge a vampire bride, not a vampire spawn, so Tav will actually have free will and be somewhere between a vampire and a spawn. So long as Tav's into it... It could be a really cool relationship long-term, being dark consort with all that power.

With Gale? Because I had that problem both times I romanced him. Everyone else works, but not him. I'm so sad. I had to watch them on KZfaq, and hot dang were all his animations the best.

Yeah, that's definitely only an after ascension Astarion kiss.

It's one of the Ascended kisses, but it's a kiss you can during normal playthrough. The other companions seem to have unique last kisses, but Astarion's is just one of his usual kisses 😭

I can't agree more. I like his ascension version the most. and it is logical that if tav chose this path, then she should be happy, no? It's literally the ending of "happily ever after", for me. Like, in reality, there are couples who behave like that, and they feel good together. But the Larians made a timid sheep out of tav in this version. Pity. 😢. I don't mind if he bites or puts her on her knees, but I don't like that my tav is afraid of it. I wish I could bite him back.❤️‍🔥 (Sorry for this monologue, but I felt the pain🥲)

@@Ms.BimbaBob Well, ascending him IS the bad ending for him, whether you like it or not. He becomes controlling, abusive, possessive, and loses any empathy he had before. The kisses suit AA, in my opinion.

@manthacake7881 I don't know. depending on how we perceive it, we do not know their future. he may well remain the same. His character was a bit toxic before that. his further behavior depends on how Tav treats him and how she will treat him further. I am not opposed to a different view, but for me, they may well live well, with flaws. maybe they can solve them together, given that he's willing to share everything he has with her. my opinion is that their future life depends entirely on the character and preferences of Tav and her attitude towards him. No offense. It just seems to me that this option is not necessarily a bad one. As I said, it all depends on Tav's character, and she treats him. ☺️

​@@Ms.BimbaBob I'd agree with the idea that Astarion's character development is entirely centered around the character of the person he bonds with, but that stops at ascension. After ascending, all his character development goes straight into the garbage bin. He was "a bit toxic" before, but after ascending him he becomes an amoral, objectively evil, power-hungry madman. He is not in love with Tav afterward; he becomes obsessed with them, but only up to a point. He'd just as easily drop Tav if they stop supporting him or being beneficial - if you tell him you miss the old Astarion, he leaves you. If he can't turn you into a spawn (e.g. Karlach origin), he leaves you. If he succeeds in turning Tav into a spawn, he thinks they are degrading themselves by being with him, because he knows he's a terrible person and can't give them what they actually need. He knows he's continuing the cycle of abuse that Cazador got caught up in, but he refuses to acknowledge it. It's why he screams at you if you dare imply he's anything like Cazador. You can continue to have your own opinions about AA, I'm not trying to change your mind. I mostly have a problem with the idea that any person would be able to live well with Ascended Astarion. He screams at you if you choose the wrong dialogue options, he threatens you if you're not obedient to him, and he "allows" you to speak to him about your relationship. If he was toxic before, he becomes a straight-up abuser afterward.
