Girrrrrrl, I'm 52 and have all of these issues with noise, and anxiety. It has progressed and just gotten out of control. I had a massive panic attack just last night in traffic because because I was surrounded by 18 wheelers. One was revving up his engine and I just sat in my car and cried. It was ridiculous. My anxiety is through the roof. Thank you for sharing this with us. I might go see a therapist now. Thank you

All positive health vibes winging your way. I've had anxiety issues since I was a child, and more so as I got older. I only take meds when I can't wrangle myself down from a panic attack or crying fit. Everyone is different. Bravo and Kudos to being open to the experience and taking that baby step forward of discovery.

I am so proud of you,and little at a time to find out more about you. My daughter also has GAD plus OCD just recently diagnosed with ADHD. She created an amazing journal that has helped her so much. One day at a time and to me being validated is so important. Glad you have great friends and support system makes a big difference. Blessings ❤

Had a lifetime of severe depression and crippling anxiety , only my meds keep me ticking over. Am currently on a two year waiting list for counseling ( AGAIN) , mental health services are practically non existent here in the UK .

I had to get off my anxiety meds due to not being able to tolerate the side effects. My dr put me on Phentermine and my anxiety came back with a vengeance. I had to stop taking it. My anxiety is so bad I fear I won’t be able to do my job properly. I probably need a therapist. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Oh gosh, yes, Phentermine will make you feel so wired that I can only imagine how it affected your anxiety. Yes, it was starting to affect my work, too. I hope you also get the help you need

@@theplussideofme Somtimes, you have to try different anxiety medications, but a good therapist will know how to handle this problem.
