I need to make more music. I got too hung up on gear for too long. On the plus side I have been practicing a lot more to try to get my chops back.

Hey Matthew, I hope that this message finds you well. Was just thinking it would be great if you did a deep dive into making beats on the MPC. How to separate them and get it sounding crisp, using some of the sounds freely available on the mpc one. Like having the bass kick on a separate track so you can it beefy and pumping... etc etc Best wishes from the UK

Hello Matthew. I wanted to ask about 4th gen focusrite and hooking KRK classic 5 to them. I just bought KRK classic 5 stereo studio monitors. The thing is i have creative ZXR sound card. But when i change volume, rewind video or change volume to either youtube video or windows, it has popping sounds. So the problem i think is the sound card. I want to know should i buy focusrite scarlet 4th gen solo and will it be enough for this speakers? Are they better than ZXr which has 124db power. Or at least same quality. Hopefully it will eliminate the popping sound. Had the same problem with old logitech x540 s with this sound card. Thanks.
