She just expected the lifeguards to deal with it all despite not having any proper training for crowd control on that scale and on top of their actual life saving job.

I love watching the way Terry helps parents and shows them so much empathy and patience even if it’s past their work time. You can tell his previous trauma with his child has really affected his work and made him a more empathetic person.

The way everyone behaved around Zach was disgusting. Lifeguards need to be concentrating on what's happening on the beach and water not doing crowd control. Zach's manager should have arranged for security guards to help keep fans away from him and not leave it to the lifeguards

I got lost at Canary Islands for 10-40 minutes the horror i had to go trough was insane, not being able to speak english or the local language i was so lucky i was able to find my parents. At the time i literally thought i would never see them again, thats how terrified i was. I really feel bad when i see cases of missing children since i my self know the horror of getting lost. I can't really speak for the parent but i bet it would feel horible to lose your child in that way.

Totally get what the guys meant by it taking too long to find the kid. When I worked at the zoo our average time to find a lost child was under 5 minutes, I will never forget the kid who was missing for over 25 minutes and the fear we *all* felt as each second passed. Thankfully we found him, he had gone back to his family's car (the zoo is fully walled-in and gated, so rarely do kids leave it unaccompanied) to wait for them when he lost them. Smart kid but very scary.

Wow I recognize a Colombian mother anywhere. 🇨🇴 I understand her reaction is universal, but the way she talked to him made me think of how my mom reacted every time she wouldn’t be able to see us when we were out. All the anguish we would make her go through and it breaks my heart. 😢 I am so glad they found him bc I can’t imagine everything that goes through their heads and the trauma of loosing your kid. No mom should have to go through that.

I remember being nine and holidaying at Whiritoa Beach (Coromandel Peninsula, NZ) and taking the pip at something my mum said in true nine year old fashion. I ran off while mum yelled after me. I worked off my temper thinking how “I’d show them” but then common sense kicked in and I went back to the bach. Meanwhile my fam searched for me then went home empty handed and there I was. Boy did I get a well deserved hiding lol 😂 never ran off on the beach again

I saw 4 sharks just from the shore this summer in natucket, lately there’s been lots of sharks well not lots but a good amount. The life guards are very good they warn everyone and get the people out of the water but it’s just a little frightening as we’ve got great whites as one of our main kind of sharks

Gawd people are weird. The lifeguards are much more fascinating than any of those celebrities. The guy thrusting his child in ZE's lap is just ridiculous. Now Snoop might have perked my ears up but screaming and all that mess would not happen. I was always taught not to swim first thing in the morning or at dusk/evening so it always amazes me when a surfer is attacked while surfing in the morning/evening cause you'd think they know better.

I think in the world of showbiz they should follow what Freddie Mercury used to say... "You should always give your fans the time of the day as they are the ones who pay your wages" the only time Freddie ever irritated with fans is if they would come up to him in a restaurant when with friends or family and shove something into his face to sign.

At the beach my family goes to in the US it’s an island & I’ve seen many sharks there, somebody got bit just a few years ago. Where I’ve swam for years & years, it could have just as easily have been me or my family or friends who got bit. The risk you take going into the ocean

When I was in kindergarten I took off after school with my friend. Never told anyone and they had the police and all my family, aunts uncles cousins, looking for me. I got home and when the police saw me they tripped out. When they were told it’s a lil Mexican boy and my name they expected a brown kid. They even said, “we woulda never thought it was him. He’s even got blue eyes.” Thankfully my aunt found me.
