FYI - You CAN use other concentrate in this machine, just be VERY careful not to overdo it or it will 'foam' too much. We use 'Mr. Clean antibacterial' and it does a terrific job with a 1 year old crawling around and getting into everything. Again, be very frugal with the amount of concentrate you use to minimize the foaming or it will constantly trigger the 'dirty tank full' light.

I got one of these on sale for $149. It was exactly what I needed. It does have to be emptied and refill fairly often, but I actually like that part because it is super easy and lightweight. No heavy lugging of waste water. As I am older, this is a huge plus. Super easy to clean. Takes less than 5 minutes to thoroughly clean after use. I have found that pre spraying dried stains helps a lot. I often use with just water and no solution in the tank. I use Fantastic or an oxy solution. It is important to keep in mind that this is not a deep cleaner. With that said, I have gotten some pretty big pet stains out of my carpet. Highly recommend.

We've had this for about 1 month and so far LOVE IT. We have 2 VERY hairy dogs and I used to have to vacuum and then hit it up with a swiffer wet pad. I was going through 2-3 swiffer pads to clean our entire first floor and it still didn't 'feel' clean - it was ridiculous. The swiffer also left nasty streaks and made our laminate floors look like a mess. This Shark Hyrdovac machine makes vacuuming and mopping SUPER easy. My only complaint is our kitchen floor is tiled and it often misses spots, so it takes a little longer to go over the same spot 2-3 times before moving on. The self-cleaning feature is SUPER easy (just make sure you do NOT use too much cleaner or it will foam too much and say the dirty tank is full every 30 seconds) I usually have to take it apart after every use because of the excessive amount of dog hair it picked up. That also is SUPER easy and literally takes less than 5 minutes to rinse out the roller cover and dirty tank components - plastic retainer and filter. I sure hope this machine lasts because it definitely doesn't have an easy job in our house with animals!
