@@shubmahajan correct only cap business isn't enough to fill his pocket for long terms. He was correct what he's doing currently. His brand is number of years old so he added other categories. There was a time when even bewakoof was also a brand having only few prudcts (solid color of t-shirt). Now they have hundreds of varieties. Bewakoof is now even performing as e-commerce platform. They sell other brands as well on their platform.

Bande mein koi problem nahi tha. He was absolutely right in his decision. Peyush almost wanted to make it a Lenskart subsidary. Aman wanted to make it the highest selling cap brand on amazon etc. This guy has the vision of making it a top class "DRIP" brand, like SUPREME, VANS and other Hypebeast brands, jo sharks ko samajh nahi aya. He didn't even need 1Cr, he was here for some honest guidance. But their greed repelled him. Good that he didn't take up any offer, and got free marketing out of the show. Wiin-Win. 😄

Smart guy, didn't throw away equity like others. If he is confident of touching 25 Crs revenue next years with 15-20% of profit, it makes sense if he isn't willing to go below PE ratio of 17. Sharks can't takeover businesses just like that.

@@arbazzzgaming Sooner you go for funding, more is the dilution to the equity. This is why every startup goes through multiple rounds of fundings. If your business is rock solid, at a later scale you can get funding at a premium valuation.

Sharks were so eager they wanted a good stakes for a cheap rate , the guy was so stubborn , if he had asked anywhere between 3-5 % for same equity , could have been a good buy for sharks( since it is a well established brand )

Urban monkey was very famous brand in hiphop culture ,and college students ,I think it is second most famous street wear after rowdyclub in inia. And has same following as bewakoof,souled store. And one more thing is why he didnt bring wallets they are so good one of my friend uses it they are bit expensive then regular wallets but feels worth it

Super inspiring to see him fighting for every percentage of his equity. He knew that he has a solid business which is profitable, so he didn’t need to give away his equity very generously. But he could’ve gone a little higher to get the mentorship and guidance of the sharks.

Urban Monkey guy is a super cool shark in himself, this brand is going to make something big. He did not fall prey to these so called aajaa fasaja gang. His second counter was just awesome. Valuation is the key guys. Anupam reaction was angoor khattey. Peyush looked disappointed for not getting the deal. He is one of the top 3 business on shark tank which is going to make big without these so called sharks. His core asset is his equity .

Souled store needs to establish itself as a brand with a clear direction and USP. Bewakoof is not even in the picture. BluOrng, Haloeffect, Bonkers are some good alternatives to Urban monkey in clothing though.
