After the show Jenny decided not to partner with Naomi as she wanted to keep her bread an artesian product. The company is valued at 5 Million Dollars.

That isn’t a good thing. The majority of people who have her disease are not able to afford the product. She used to be like then, now that she has money, she is leaving people like who she used to be to fend for themselves instead of lifting them up with her.

i think the nice old lady mostly wanted to have less work to do. if her new partner was supposed to take care of most of the daily workings of the company, i think 25% is fair, if there's no wage included.

Granny is sure ambitious to sell a $1.60 loaf of bread of $15 🤣
@billsmith8825

I work at Aldi and we sell a loaf of bread that is keto approved, for people on the keto diet, and it's almost $5 for a tiny loaf about a quarter of the size of the one she's selling. And I must add that it tastes like sawdust. People who have certain dietary restrictions or gluten intolerance will pay a lot of money for bread that tastes good but fits within their dietary structure.

@@billsmith8825 Interesting, I'll definitely try out the Aldi keto bread this weekend! This mad level of markup usually mean there is little to no competition in the market, good for her and other boutique sellers for now, but when the big boys scale up, the small players will be forced out. Until then, the customers will have to shell out dough (pun unintended) to buy food that their dietary restrictions force them to buy.

@@MADMAX7330 the keto bread is acceptable at best. I've eaten a few loads of it, because I try to keep my carbs down. But it certainly doesn't taste like regular loaf bread. It's not terrible, but for the price I don't think it's worth it.
