They've had them a long time. I seem to recall seeing both sixgills and sevengills in this same tank when I was a kid.

I do have to wonder, though. While the sharks obviously get fed, thus dulling their predator instinct to some degree, so they ever eat any of the other fish in the tanks they share? Like, what if they want an in-between meals snack?

In an aquarium, it's inevitable, but small fish aren't typically too hard to replace, and it's very hard to keep track of thousands of fish in one tank so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't too big of an issue

Sharks usually don't go for smaller fish (unless the shark is small). Sharks eat for energy, not usually just to snack, and probably will only eat at least once a week, or at most once a day. Plus, tiny fish have the advantage of being faster than most sharks. The only time i've heard of sharks trying to eat small fish is when the small fish is sick or injured, making them an easier target. But the sharks at aquariums get fed so frequently and fed good quality fish that its very unlikely, but of course not impossible.
